This is a great coffee shop to have meetings at or just to work on some writing. It's cozy, it's quaint and the have gelato.
Only downside would be a minor lack of outlets. I've never had a problem getting an outlet, but I have had to do some searching.
Love this place!

I'm a pretty big critic, but this place was perfect. The treats, the open space inside, the coffee, and the patio with the fountain! There an hour before close on a week night. Great service and I was satisfied with everything.

The coffee here is great. They roast it in house. Bakery items are really good, too. Good place to study if it's not too busy (Saturday after 12). A real gem on South Grand.

Best place in South City for a coffee. Expertly made. I am not sure where the gelato comes from but is fantastic and the selection is slightly different each time my family visits. Small patio out back with a fountain. Inside is cozy and often filled with folks doing homework.

Update: this place is not what it used to be before the pandemic. The food quality has gone down, raspberry tastes fake, not like real raspberry, and they defined added colors. Vanilla is too sweet, tastes like off-brand ice cream. Definitelydoesn'ttastelike gelato anymore. Unfortunate, b/c I liked the atmosphere there. The logo has changed and the name changed slightly.

Absolutely delicious gelato and coffee with a quiet Euro aesthetic. Gelatos are rich and creamy. London Fog was a real winner. Sorbets are light and vibrant, intensely fruit forward without the cloying sweetness of mass produced varieties. Espresso is smooth and biting with just enough bitterness, and is priced extremely competitively. Perfect quiet and affordable place for a sweet treat and a coffee to end a night out.

Saint Louis, and even Grand specifically, has no shortage of quality coffee available, though Gelataria Del Leone is the king of the concrete java jungle on that street. They are never overcrowded, always fast, cozy, roomy, reasonably priced, independent, and always play good and diverse music every time I'm in there. The coffee is so good, and it goes well with the gelato and/or baked goods they also offer. They occasionally have gluten-free stuff, though Celiac disease sufferers may bemoan the cross-contamination. They have good, free, fast, no BS WiFi, too- as well as outdoor seating and a built in library of games and books. Other places nearby are good too, but they are more crowded, slower, and cost more. When you need a coffee on South Grand, and maybe something delicious to accompany it- this joint is the joint.

This is one of those places I wish I could teleport to and spend every day in for a period of time. I have been there for live music at night in the little patio garden and during the day for a hot chocolate.
This is a place of dreams. You can study, work, play games, read. The have beautiful book shelves with books, puzzles, board games. Best gelato I have had yet!

Not many options to choose from. Gelato looks More like mediocre ice cream. Very disappointed with the flavors and the texture. It came out of a box is what it tasted like.

Just cozy and delicious. A really solid place to meet or lounge. Staff are always friendly, quick and low-key so you can easily order but don't feel babysat.
