Tasteless Gelato , over priced not worth it

We are gelato snobs and they had one of the best gelato we had in the states. It was close to what we had in Italy, not the tourist one. A little disappointed that we couldn't find bloody orange, champaign, pear, or chestnut flavor but more common blackberry, blueberry, lime, and mango flavors they had were very fresh and all natural. Out favorite was London Fog (with Earl Grey)! It was good by itself, but went really well with a big flavor like blackberry. Don't let the tiny cup fool you. The portion was more than generous and the staff was very friendly and provided all the request of flavor samples. Pastry and coffee looked good, but that's for another day!

Great place, I specifically go for the Myan Chocolate. I usually get a cup for now and a pint for later. Unfortunately today they had none, not even any chocolate. The pickings were slim to say the least. Maybe an off night, next time I will call ahead considering it's about a 20 minute drive.

The cafe is cute, but the staff was quite aloof, and the gelato was just okay. It tasted more like fro yo than gelato and it is quite pricey. They have a lovely patio tucked away in the back, and that was a nice surprise.

Was looking for tiramisu (the custard cake with lady fingers, not a gelato flavor), and found it on the menu, at this place, when searching Google. Telephoned in advance of making the trip. However, no one answered the phone, call went to voicemail, and voicemail was full (Hint #1 of a poorly run business). The girlfriend and I decided to go anyway, because we were really wanting tiramisu, and it _was_ on the menu... When we got there, we found the place to have only a few guests, and walked right up to the counter. To be fair, it is a gelato shop, bakery, and coffee house, and it _is_ a rather cold February. The counter staff did not greet us, and when I asked if they had tiramisu, she just looked at me. Finally, she shook her head in the negative. Thinking she may have thought that I was talking about a tiramisu flavored gelato, I showed her the menu as indicated by Google, and again, she shook her head, but did acknowledge we were in the right place. Rather disappointed, we reluctantly ordered two small gelatos, since we had made the trip. The other staff person rang us out. When I lamented that we came for tiramisu that was on the menu, and even called in advance, only for the phone to be unanswered, and the voicemail full, she simply said, "we were busy."

In defense of the counter staff, they don't set the menu, nor do they publish it, and they can only serve what is there. And while the gelato was good, this was, overall a disappointment, resulting from poor management and poor customer service. After all, what kind of business answers the phone so infrequently that the voicemail gets full?! Clearly, those customer/ potential customer concerns were not addressed, either. Nothing shows a lack of concern for the customer, as a voicemail box that is allowed to become so full that messages can't be left. It literally says of the business, "We don't care about the people who call us." Two stars, _only_ because of the quality of the gelato.

Great drinks and gelato! Specifically, the Caffe Americano is very flavorful without being overly bold. The atmosphere is cozy, and I love pulling a book off the shelf when feeling curious. The staff is awesome: friendly and pleasant. They even respect a lost Cubs fan. Great for after dinner on Grand.

Local coffee is something we look for in each town we travel too. This place has amazing coffee, great gelato, and an overall welcoming atmosphere. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. Will definitely be back!

The Gelato is great, lots of interesting flavors to choose from, and the coffee offerings and pastries are tasty. This is a great location to meet a friend, work on the computer, and hang out. Check out the lovely, garden patio in the back.

Some really delicious flavors of gelato available and some excellent comfortable seating (as well as a lovely outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice). One star deducted for a staff that honestly seems like they are incapable of caring less about serving you.

These folks have changed up their coffee, and it's INCREDIBLE. They have always had a great atmosphere, and quiet spaces upstairs. I highly recommend this place. ❤️
