Not technically local but still killing it overall.
Great addition to the neighborhood.

We made a quick stop at Pipers before starting a 12 hour road trip. The americano was one of the best I’ve had. The vegan chocolate banana muffins were mind blowing! So yummy and tasty. Everyone in the car raved about the yumminess of all the pastries.
The building is beautiful and the service was superb. We can’t wait to visit on our next trip!

A very cute coffee and tea shop on South Kingshighway - they also sell tea, coffee and makers. There's a small selection of baked goods and treats to nibble on. It's hip and gaining popularity, so while I always find a seat it can be quite loud at times. They have occasional live music as well.

Absolutely massive shot of espresso, similar to the pre set pull from an at home machine.

Vibe is great, disappointing the espresso was sub par.

Top coffee and tea in Saint Louis. Starbucks is across the street, but believe me, skip that and go here for true quality and service.

Cutest little coffee shop (though not that little, they actually have a lot of seating)! Always an interesting collection of people hanging out having a conversation or doing a little work over coffee. Super friendly staff and delicious flavored syrups for their coffee!

The iced dirty chai with oat milk is exquisite. The staff is friendly, quirky, and efficient.

The store is beautifully designed with plentiful seating and chargers. It feels very modern and clean. The plants on the shelf by the front door were yellowing and likely overwatered, but not beyond saving.
Staff was welcoming and kind, but generally awkward and fairly unprofessional.
My partner ordered a dirty “extra slutty” chai that tastes like oat milk with a little chai in it. The chai:milk:espresso ratio was not pleasant to either of us.
I tried one of their seasonal drinks, a “cherry bomb” or something like that. All of the makings sounded good, but we both agreed it was not. His chai is palatable. I got rid of mine.

We also tried the macarons and a brownie (because that’s all that was left at 10am). The macaroons were fine. Nothing notable but not bad. The brownie was dense and fluffy looking, but very dry and crumbly. I took it home to drink with milk.
There were no forks or silverware available to eat your pastries with, only plastic utensils in plastic wrapping, which doesn’t match the aesthetic of the store at all.
We were excited to try something cute, new, and local, but the quality of what we experienced won’t bring us back.

It was a spur.of the moment decision to try Piper's Tea and Coffee. It was an amazing choice. The inside is very roomy and looks amazing. I got a basic coffee and my wife got the lavender honey latte.

Really good pour over coffee if you’re looking for a great cuppa in STL. Chill place, great music but not too loud. Macaroons are excellent.
