Really impressive menu. Kind of hit and miss on likability in our group. The New Orleans style coffee was pretty good and the Banana Bread Breve was VERY good. The bourbon flavored drink was not our favorite and the chai was too spicy for us. My husband loves Vietnamese coffee but theirs tasted burnt. Neat shop though.

The coffee shop is great. The decorations are wonderful, you can enjoy your drink and play chess. The staff are very friendly, I alway forget the coffee but am really glad that they have my order on record. Long story short, great Coffee with economical price

Best coffee in Rolla. Skip Starbucks and come here instead! Not only is their coffee excellent, but – I kid you not – the lids are a game changer!

Great little coffee shop with tables for working, quick wifi (22up 8down), and great coffee. I'm personally a big fan of the "nuclear waste," which is like chocolate milk and strong coffee. Yum.

The best coffee we've ever had. Choice of light or dark roast with lattes.

Very helpful in finding a great cup of coffee we would like. Talked it over with us and gave us great recommendation. I would suggest anything driving past to stop for a cup of coffee.

Everything you want out of a chill cafe. Their specialty drinks were inspired and well crafted. I love that they ask if I wanted dark or light roast espresso for the lattes.

As someone who has lived in Rolla and supported Giddy Goat for several years since before Jen and Ben took it over, it's very disappointing to see what it has been becoming over the last few years.
The employees who have cycled through are always knowledgeable, friendly, fun and welcoming. They literally make the place.
However, it's very apparent that it's not well managed or maintained anymore. The flooring hasn't had a good mop in ages and needs to be resurfaced with a little protective polish. There are floor panels literally disconnecting from the rest, making slip and trip hazards. Glue it down or redo the whole floor.
There's a table in the back that just seems to be a raised wood pallet, but that can't be cleaned or or wiped off ever since it's so rough! I've watched employees try to clean customer spills from it, and it just doesn't work. Get a better table to replace that junk!
I highly doubt the couches have been shampooed and they've been there for YEARS now. Rumor has it that there's bed bugs on them so they need to be scrapped anyway.
The place just is dirty when you really take a look around (windows, window sill, floor, floor boards, shelves, tiles...). The owner needs to pay more attention to detail. The bathroom is way behind the times too. At least buy a new toilet, seat and upgrade the sink. Sheesh!
Additionally, having run the business for 10+ years now --- there shouldn't be issues with keeping up on stock this often. There are plenty of forewarnings and anticipations to expect nowadays to plan ahead for any delays in inventory/shipping.
Customers AND employees are tired of waiting on the owner/manager to do their job!
The owner has kept their prices low and ignored inflation for the sake of customers, but it's time to rethink that strategy because you have the shop to fix and work on. Plus, employees to take better care of, appreciate and pay more than $9/hour + tips.

In my 34 years of life this is a top three worst coffee experiences. It took five minutes before I ordered followed by twenty minute wait for the coffee. I ordered an Autumn Mocha special and it was undrinkable. The amounts of chocolate can’t undo the quality of coffee. I ordered a hot coca for my kids which was an infinite amount of chocolate syrup with Luke warm (at best) milk. They asked if I wanted light or dark espresso so I was getting pumped for the drink but I was very disappointed in the outcome. I nearly waited a half hour with my family in the car for undrinkable beverages.
