Greatest food in cape county. Friendly staff and great people visit the mud cat. If you are looking for quick and crappie food the mud is not for you. The staff takes time to create your meal and so far they have never disappointed me or my family. Thank you mud cat staff for the attitude and the great food.

It's such a lovely place with such lovely people.. Becky is super personable and nice she always makes sure everyone has a good time.. the food can be heavy on the arteries but it's still amazing home cooking!

Great food & atmosphere plan to stay a little while. My girls and I had a great lunch there.

Fish fry- Friday night ! Decent prices and excellent ,🌻very nice staff ! We also had Buffalo chicken sandwich and fries and cucumber salad , Nacho's with pork and the works ! They have Breakfast and all kinds of sandwiches, burgers , and salads . Our crew got what they wanted & nothing we had was disappointing. Everything tasted fresh and delicious 😋. We even got a piece of chocolate Reese PB cake to go. Lovely place, clean, very down to earth. Would recommend . 👍😊

We had the vegetable soup, chicken and dumplings, smoked tenderloin sandwich, and potato cakes, and it was all amazing!! This place reminds me of my Grandma's kitchen, with amazing hospitality and mouthwatering food. We have been here several times, and have yet to taste anything that is just so-so. It has quickly become our favorite place to eat!

Remarkably underwhelming.
I had seen pictures and read the menu and reviews. I was genuinely excited to try Mudcat.
I was greeted by a reasonably friendly staff and allowed to seat myself. The decor and atmosphere are definitely one of a kind. While the seating is quite unique most of it looks quite uncomfortable. It was extremely cool in the dining area.
I ordered a caramel macchiato. What I got was an over priced cup of folders with half and half and vanilla syrup flavoring. Nothing fancy no whipped cream and caramel drizzled on top like I've seen I pictures shared by other customers. Perhaps they didn't know the difference between a caramel macchiato and a coffee or perhaps I'm not VIP enough to get what I ordered.
I'm not sure which.
I ordered a breakfast quesadilla and that is exactly what I got. Bacon, cheese, fried egg. The flavor profile was bland and underwhelming. No seasoning what so ever not even a little salt /pepper. No peppers or onions no sauce not even basic sour cream or salsa. There are a number of online recipes that could punch up this flavor profile and exciting sauces like cilantro lime avocado cream (made with garlic and sour cream) a farm fresh chutney or salsa would definitely punch up this otherwise lack luster dining experience.

I might go back to try some lunch/dinner options as the pictures shared look down right delicious. Fried biscuits and gravy sound interesting too. However I will not waste my money on their overpriced folders and creamer ever again.

I hope that the ownership/ management takes my honest review and critique seriously and adjust their menu accordingly.
I hope if I do go back that my future experiences leave me less disappointed.

The food was excellent. Had the BBQ Combo... so flavorful. Enjoyed the atmosphere. If you are in a hurry, not the place to go. But, if you don't mind waiting... WORTH IT!!!
