The food is always delicious the staff is friendly will come out to your table and talk to you will customize your item if you want something else added. It's a Small place full of flavor never had anything that we didn't like. Don't believe any negative review about this place. Somebody just had their panties in a twist we were there the other night the food was absolutely delicious was a little warm and stuffy in the corner we were sitting in, to be expected in a small place with a grill and a deep fryer and ovens going and some older gentlemen yelled and move seats two or three times about it being so cold and we set right beside him maybe shouldn't wear shorts in late October. Take those kind of people with a grain of salt this place is a must see. YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!!

Server never refilled drinks or checked on table for more food she sat at the counter playing on her phone. Had to ask a little girl for help. Fish and fries were overcooked and hard to eat!

The food was delicious but the gentleman that made a scene over it being to cold was a male Karen. The owner even turned the ac off just to satisfy his little hissy fit. Thanks for making us hot male Karen. We have been to this amazing little cafe many many times. The food is and always will be the best in the area.

I've ate here since she started making food and it's always great.. What makes The Mudcat fantastic is Becky's relentless, it seems, innovation to spice things up! I'm never disappointed to spend money on quality foods.. including a whole apple pie 🍎

Food is always great and so is the staff . tonight as we were eating we had to put up with a very angry customer who was complaining about how cold it was and causing a scene. He moved table's 3 times. The couple that was with him did not move. (So it couldn't have been as bad as he was making it ) We thought it was comfortable in the restaurant . My advice to the" Male Karen" is that maybe you should NOT wear shorts in October in MO.

Hands down best breakfast I've ate at a restaurant great homemade gravy and the waffles were amazing and the kitchen sink was amazing as well. I'll definitely be going back.

This is THE place for breakfast. The food is amazing. Fresh and made to order. Try the “haystack” sometime.

Pick up supper from there tonight and the food was perfect!! Grilled Buffalo chicken with cheese sauce and arugula was cook perfect! Then husbands food was a special order and they nailed it. Fantastic food and atmosphere every time I go in.

Took a little while to get our food, but there was a group of approximately 12-15 senior citizens arrive just ahead of us. Fish was hot and fresh. Slaw was unique and good. Everything tasted great! Enough food for two meals.
