Love to meet here with clients due to the friendly, comfortable atmosphere. There’s a great amount of space & privacy if needed. If you’re just going there to relax or with a friend, they even have games you can play! The coffee & food is also delicious!
I've thoroughly enjoyed all the coffee beverages I've tried here – latte, cortado, and my favorite, Post offers some really nice single-origin coffees that shine as a pour-over. Beans available for sale, some pricy but a nice treat. Also some tasty baked goods if you're looking to pair your coffee with a little something sweet. Cultivar's space is great if you want to hang out solo or a group, and this area is great for a stroll if you want to take it to go.
This coffee shop is really solid! Its right in downtown NKC, the vibes inside from all the customers are really friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is really great! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the barista that helped me. First let me say: It was a bit busy and he was the only one working for some reason, but when I came in there was not a ton of people. He just seemed either incredibly tired or just completely disinterested in being friendly. He did know his coffee though, and was able to give me a good recommendation on my pour over, but besides that he just was not very welcoming or friendly even after I was asking him how his day was going, or while dealing with other customers.
I will be back! Awesome location, great vibes overall.
NKC Location. Cons: the atmosphere is interesting.. I likely will get my coffee to go. The space seems to be used by more than one business. Feels/energy is a little chaotic. Probably would fit right in Seattle if that's your thing. Pros: best latte ever. Creamy, roasy, rich. I have never found a better coffee in KC. Have a couple more places to try, but i go back to Post every time.
3 stars for good coffee. Employees were not overly friendly, having to force and answer to a general “hi” greeting that occurs in normal conversation. You know what they say about first impressions. Odd that they only have one size cup. Asked for large drip coffee and was not told they only have one size. Was just presented with a seemingly small cup, and asked if this was their large? Then they disclosed the one size thing. Strike 2. Good sausage breakfast burrito. Won’t be returning since there are so many other options to try. Maybe you’ll have better luck?
Place is very cute and cozy. Nice ambiance and not like very bright inside. Little hard to get out of your space if you park on Armour Rd since it's a bust street. I just got an iced caramel latte to go real quick. It was really good. Staff was friendly. I had to wait a few mins as there was 2 people in front of me but that's OK. I might come back again if I'm in the area and it's not super busy. But NKC is always busy it seems.
I had a pastry here called a Strawberry Hand Pie that I'm still thinking about 2 days later. The pour over just what I needed to get through the rest of my day... Let me know what you think! I wish they'd been open just a little longer on a Wednesday, but that's the way things go.
Left feeling irate after my less than stellar experience with the staff. I don’t appreciate having my order taken by someone who proceeds to slap their hands on the table as if to tell me to hurry up. When I finished placing my order, the barista was told, “This ones an easy one” in a tone that made me feel like I was the bad guy for ordering a chai. The customer that came in after me was treated with respect, so my first assumption that this person was having a bad day was not the case. When I told the barista thank you, they didn’t respond. Maybe they didn’t hear me but a little eye contact goes a long way. I’m giving an extra star because I did get what I ordered, but I will not be coming back.
Rude lady at the counter. I asked if they were going to make any more pastries or doughnuts. She rudely looked empty case and looked back at me as if I should have known the empty case meant they weren’t going to. A simple no would have sufficed.
Several locations and they all serve good coffee. Drip is fine but the pour overs recently have been worth it and the seasonal stuff has been particularly good.
It can be busy so if want to snag a spot check for the busy hours
