Foundation Grounds is a welcoming & cozy environment that is perfect for an enjoyable meal with friends and family. The large windows, that allow the sunbeams to flow gently into the restaurant, provide a delightful view of the city.

I especially enjoy ordering the chicken salad sandwich that is amazingly, delicious. The hot apple cider, served in an oversized, ceramic mug, is the perfect beverage for a cold wintry day. Your entree order arrives quickly at your table by the friendliest servers.

I get my coffee here regularly. It's a great place to either work alone or meet with friends. I wouldn't recommend it for groups larger than 5, but there is always seating for a coffee catch-up with friends.

For as busy as it is on this Sunday morning, it is still relatively quiet and you are easily able to hear the people you're seated with without raising your voices. The Pho-Grey Tea is outstanding with hints of lavender and brewed to perfection. The Morning Glory cake was the perfect amount of sweetness with the cream cheese icing and packed full of carrots, nuts and currants.

Very disappointed! First time coming here. Ordered a slice of quiche and it was never brought out to us. It was in a to go box although it was for dining in. By the time it was located and given to us it was barely lukewarm. We ordered two mochas and they tasted like a spiced latte. It was very bitter and there was no flavor resembling mocha.

This is an unexpected treasure. We went here today, and the weather was wonderful. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was a very nice comfortable atmosphere, and the coffee and vegan desserts were great! I will definitely be back!

Wonderful coffee shop. The shop is your standard cofee affair with a good selection of options. They sea to know what they are doing and there are good descriptions for the coffees. I will definitely return.

My gorgeous butch girlfriend gets a cinnamon mocha here at every chance that they get! We are long distance so I hear about it all the time over the phone. Can’t wait to try it myself:) Until then ¡Arrivederci!

Went for the coffee. Not bad, but probably not my first choice. They do keep track of tables that need to be cleaned - very nice!

My latte tasted like burnt dirt. My boyfriend ordered a macchiato but didnt realize what it was and when he asked if he could get something different they made him pay for a separate drink. He got a chi latte and he said it was horrible. They must be under new managment or soemthing because this place used to be my favorite coffee shop when I lived here 6 months ago and now I dont recognize anyone that worksh there all of the eclectic art and signs that made foundation grounds the homey place that it was to send the afternoon sipping specialty drinks is gone. I hated this experience if it weren't for the nostalgia of my past experiences there I would say that I'm never going back. But maybe the next time I'm in town I'll give them another chance. I'm just so extremely disappointed and disheartened. I've been looking so forward to visiting stl and going to foundation grounds and it feels like one of my favorite places is no longer there for me to enjoy.
