The staff here is always cheery and helpful. Seating area is kept clean and organized. I like that they let you try different flavors before diving into a full scoop. They provide outdoor water for my pup which is so thoughtful and appreciated.

Though parking can be a mess in the area this ice cream is a rich treat. Be prepared, a single scoop on a cone will cost around $4. The flavors are good. The ice cream is kept a little warm so it can be messy.

I've been enjoying Poppy's for years--even back when they were Doc's in Raytown! They have the BEST homemade ice cream, and the prices are very reasonable. My husband and I are frequent supporters of this local business!

Pretty good ice cream! Their cake batter is probably the best, and I usually love chocolate chip. Just seems run down these days, and overpriced. Still a good time

The ice cream was great but expensive. We got a med. Brownie sundae and a small hot fudge sundae and it was 10.86. I asked for a receipt cause it seemed expensive and the guy just wrote out the total on a peice of paper. I checked online after and the price should have came out to 8 bucks plus tax and I know tax couldn't have been 2.86 on 8 bucks. Feeling like I got jipped, which sucks because it was really good but will never go back because of that.

Poppys is ALL homemade ice cream with signature flavors such as gianduja (chocolate hazelnut), lemon cookie, cinnamon roll, kitchen sink, and even some fresh sorbets. So good and one of my favorite stops in kc

The ice cream and employees were great! Please fix your spoons, though! They are too deep and uncomfortable to eat with.

This is not the same old ice cream. Poppy's makes all their ice cream from scratch on site. Their flavors are unique and original. If your having an event, you can get their big yellow truck to show up.
