Poppy's Ice Cream & Coffee House

I wasn't expecting the best caramel latte I've ever had, to be at an ice cream and coffee shop! This feels like a hidden gem in the Lee's Summit area, and is a delightful little shop to spend some time with a loved one over a salty brownie sundae.

I personally didn't like the ice cream, but everyone else in my group loved it and I'm a pretty picky eater. The atmosphere was great and so was the service.

This place is great. I love artisan ice cream shops and have been to quite a few. Poppy's has relatively few flavors - I think 16 per day - but they taste great. They also have locally roasted coffee, so you can get that put in a shake too!

Love love love Poppy's. Great flavors of ice cream and the hubs really enjoys their coffee. The they have outdoor seating and even an ice cream treat for your dog! The coconut sorbet is bomb and you can't go wrong with the gianduja!

Lately I've been getting the gianduja shake (hazelnut espresso ice cream) it's 10/10

Deliciously smooth ice cream with simple yet bold flavors! My husband and I traveled about 30 minutes to get there and it was well worth the trip. Staff was helpful and friendly and the ice cream was amazing! You must try the espresso bean and the cinnamon! A new favorite for sure.
