Baxters Coffee and Donuts Lees Summit store 118

This was my second visit to this store. My first visit was ok. Nothing to write home about. Amazing donuts and selection! The staff was so/so. Today I was assisted by Tyler. Tyler was not a very pleasant person and has some very snotty remarks that he makes to his customers. My youngest daughter wanted a caramel cream filled long john. Tyler told me they only had maple. She’s young enough that her tastebuds don’t care. So, I told her that it was kind of the same to which Tyler very snarkily said, “It’s not the same in the slightest.” My other daughter asked for a cake donut and he looked at her like she was stupid and said, “cake donut??? You mean old fashion?” Really??? Who doesn’t know what a cake donut is? Obviously this man woke up on the wrong side of the bed but no need to be hateful to children. Save it for the older people that want to come argue with you.

The people that work here are so much fun.
I didn't even realize this place was here and really was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the donuts the pastries and the coffee was. I think I'm going to be a regular here.

My dad tried to get Baxters this morning and couldn’t get waited on so no idea if it’s any good. He’s 88 and they made him stand forever. He sat and talked to an older couple that said you have to go to the cash register. He went and joked are you open and the register attendant said no so he left

Just wasted my money on half a dozen, overpriced gas station doughnuts. Nothing special about them. I was really hoping for something better. The inside of the store is really clean and the service was pleasant, but I won't be back for anymore

Great place for coffee and donuts! Very friendly, helpful staff. Donuts are excellent!! Very comfortable place to a coffee and donuts and they have great sandwiches for a nice lunch.

Great Turtle Mocha. Egg sandwich good. Place is almost too sterile. They need to lighten up on the atmosphere and throw in a fireplace and a couch.

The staff was extremely friendly. The place was clean and the donuts were ridiculously delicious!

The breakfast sandwiches are FIIRE, but had a matcha green tea Frappuccino and it was DISGUSTING. The best way I can describe it is it tasted like minty dirt with a weird after taste. Matcha doesn't tast anything close to that.

Great selection, clean store, very friendly staff. Honestly could do coffee and breakfast here every day. Highly recommended.

Great donuts and coffee. Sadly not one gf option so we won't be able to go there again and won't use them for school donut runs.
