Parisi - Union Station

The choices here are abundant and delicious. Prices are too high and coffee sizes are smaller than most places in Kansas City. Staff is competent but not particularly friendly.

Solid 4-star third-wave shop. I made a point to visit during travels across the country since a USBC champion cut his teeth here. The barista on my visit was courteous and pulled a quality shot but lacked the experience and style I expected. But the way, don't bother with the Horchata special. I appreciate that the concentrate is housemade, but it didn't mix well. All said though, better than the green monster or other mass-production outlets.

Parisi's espresso roast is spot on. I know it's personal preference but most enthusiasts will agree.

Side note: Take the time to walk around and appreciate the art on the walls while your beverage is crafted by one the talented baristas.

Friendly staff. Unfortunately they were out of all cold brew, several teas and 1 coffee item. All of these item my group wanted to order.

Not the best coffee, in my opinion. And Union Station is kind of lacking in things to do.

The coffee is amazing, the staff is a little rude, and the tables are always dirty. It is convenient and cute.

Got an Indonesian pour-over. Wasn't very impressed. It tasted a bit burnt. The baristas didnt' seem to know much about their beans. I probably hit them at a bad time but unfortunately can't recommend it after that round.

Their roasts are actually really good, and the suggestions from the barista led me to purchase a pour over setup. The only qualm I had is they do not do flights or tastings on site.

The smell of coffee really draws you in. The selection is pretty good for such a small space. They have a few options other than coffee. Cold brew has a good kick.

Excellent breakfast. Service wasn't the best I've ever seen - I got one cup of coffee and no refill even though we were there for more than 30 minutes.
