One of my favorite spots in KC. I frequent this coffee shop not only for the delish drinks and treats, but also for the friendly, upbeat staff and cozy, island atmosphere! The perfect spot to meet a friend or date, knock out some work, sip and read, or just zone out to the Hawaiian tunes. Go! You won't be disappointed!

First time ever went there with a couple people. The vibes- felt out of this world. I could actually listen to my inner peace which has not happened since college started lol. The two girls there are wonderful to talk to, and didnt mind putting whipped cream on my coffee. I asked them what the difference between Hawaian Machiato and regular Machiato was, and they said this one makes you feel like you're in Hawaii. Never been there, but it felt like I was in Hawaii. Will be coming there to study and to hang with friends. Such a little gem. Also, want to utilize the cozy workshop space as well. Thank you hiTides, you didn't disappoint. Much more than a coffee place, really.

I’ve been looking Forward to going to Hitides for some time and today I finally made it happen. Unfortunately, my wife and I were disappointed. While the decor is cute and charming, the coffee leaves much to be desired. My wife ordered a Hawaiian Macchiato which is supposed to have sea salted caramel from Hawaii. I can only describe it at flavorless. I ordered a dirty chai and found it to be among the worst I have tried. I’ll stick with the dirty chai at the Roasterie and at Gusto in Lees Summit. My wife against my advice also ordered a donut that was supposed to be from Donutology. My experience of Donutology has been old dried up donuts that are decorated. The $5 pineapple glaze Donutology donut at Hitides lived up to the hype. It was an old dried up donut heated up n the microwave. Yuck! All in all our visit to Hitides resulted in $20 wasted!

The coffee was great the donuts from donutology we're mostly just sweet, but still good. My only complaint would be the staffing #s. When I was there there was only one person and she definitely could have used some help when business picked up.

Great, fun place! We had a snickerdoodle cookie ice cream sundae! AMAZE!

The only reason this is a 4 star, is they need 2 workers in the morning. The coffee was good, the donut was stellar and the barrista was super sweet, but needed help. The atmosphere and and music was wonderful. Will be returning.

This was my first time to Hitide. I got a cold brew coffee with oat milk and it was delicious! Loved the Hawaiian atmosphere and the music was very relaxing. Very fun place and if I’m back in town would stop here again.

The Atmosphere is AMAZING! Very great place to do outside work! The menu has lots of variety to choose from and they are all great choices!

Good coffee, and a cool unique decor! The staff was nice, and even though me and my friend lost track of time and stayed late, Michelle was still so kind to us! I forgot my backpack in the shop, Kate and Michelle went above and beyond to make sure I got it back. Wonderful people!

This place has a nice chill Hawaiian themed atmosphere. The donuts are warm and delicious. I highly recommend the sea salt iced macchiato! Very friendly staff as well.
