I came to this coffee shop for the first time yesterday and I was completely blown away! The atmosphere is incredible. I love how it embodies the aloha spirit in such a cool and creative way. It’s an environment that is super supportive to artists and all types of creative energy.

The staff were awesome! I also got a chance to chat with the owner and he is a truly great! Definitely very genuine.

I love their different menu options and how much thought and care goes into what they have to offer.

I took tons of photos. The space just has photo-worthy sections all over the place.

I’m excited to bring other people to this cool spot and I highly recommend checking it out!

13/10 spot!! I have never seen a happier/more beautiful interior in my life! The mixture of vintage and DIY design work is incredible. It felt like a small piece of Hawaii in KC. I will be forever in love with this place. Creative and delicious food/ drink options.

You know a place is beautiful when you spend the whole time saying, “Wow, this is so pretty!” Beautiful people make beautiful places so much better! The Baristas were patient as we navigated the Hawaiian themed menu. They made suggestions and let us try our different items so we got our monies worth. I had the Hawaiian sunset tea which featured beautiful garnish and my friend enjoyed a very smooth Rose Latte! For sure a place where you can work and enjoy a nice vibe.

What an awesome and different coffee drinking experience. The moment you walk in the door you are greeted with beautiful, relaxing Hawaiian music. It's decorated with wicker furniture, plants, and Hawaiian trinkets. They also offer 4 flavors of bagel toast, donuts from Donutology and Artisan ice cream. Dogs are allowed inside. love the environment. It's very relaxing.

This cafe has excellent tropical vibes with genuine decoration and rare collectables from around the world. The coffee is excellent the food is unique and really affordable (recommend the Mango Bagel Toast). The staff is very friendly. The bathrooms are very clean and the seating is incredibly comfortable. My experience was like visiting a friend and having breakfast in their living room. I would definitely recommend.

Hitides is a DELIGHTFUL place to grab a drink and relax (or get a little remote work done). The staff is amazing, and so is the menu. If coffee is your jam, choose from a wide variety if cold and hot concoctions, but if like me, tea is more your thing, never fear - they have you covered there too!

Also, be sure to check out their treats as well. I am excited to report they have GF options too! Not to mention Dole Whip🍍!!

In conclusion, a great local hideaway to step out of KC for just a little while and enjoy a tropical vibe.

This is one of my favorite shops in Kansas City!! The coffee is so good. They have a ton of unique options for flavors and drinks. I get the prickly pear lemonade if I’m not feeling coffee! The atmosphere is adorable with the tropical decorations and music. Every barista that works there has always been nice and welcoming as well❤️ OH AND!! They have dole whip that is DELICIOUS! Plus lots of other fun treats and snacks!

This place is super cute! Definitely gives off strong Island vibes plus a side of entrepreneurship with the artist’s space in the back. I ordered the black coffee and chocolate macadamia nut donut.

The shop itself is incredibly welcoming and I love the energy!
Coffee & Food were both delicious (I got the Hawaiian macchiato and citrus doughnut).
The studio spaces are a really interesting and completely understated part of this environment.
It was my first time in and I was greeted by the most hospitable employees/artists. I will absolutely be returning and I would 100% recommend! 💚

I came for the coffee and stayed for the comforting vibes. I loved everything about the decor and ambience. The amount of natural light and comfy seats made me want sit here and look at all the art while enjoying some great coffee. I’ll definitely be back to try the ice cream and donuts soon. If you’re having a bad day and need to cheer up, spending time in here might make you feel a little better.
