Such a sweet little mom and pop shop. My fiancée and I had broken down in KC the night before and went here while we waited for the truck to be repaired. The drinks and pastries were excellent and there was live music happening that cold, drizzly Sunday morning. They welcomed us and made us feel at home. We stayed hours and they wished us well when we got the call our truck was ready. Thanks again, Headrush team!

This is a great coffee shop. The shop itself is small but very inviting and cozy. Upon entering, I was welcomed by an employee and immediately helped. There is a roasting machine near the entrance where you can watch them roasting the coffee beans while you wait. The walls are also covered with infographics about coffee types, locations that grow coffee, and everything in-between. The coffee itseld is delicious, not too burnt or mild, as the coffee beans are perfectly roasted. The prices are very fair and I would highly recommend this place.

Can't support a local coffee shop that treats their employees poorly.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the employee’s say “oh that girls back again” 🤣 sorry! Y’all are stuck with me as one of your biggest supporters! Y’all got me addicted to an Large iced white chocolate mocha with a shot of raspberry and extra shot of espresso... it may or may not be a problem now! I will come here any day before stepping foot into Starbucks!

WOW-I'm impressed!! A quaint little shop whose coffee packs a delicious punch. Friendly staff and an amazing cup of coffee. It's always good when you order a mocha a can actually taste the coffee, instead of a cup of chocolate.

Really friendly staff, accommodating and welcoming. They have a decent coffee selection, but you have to ask, and the baristas have to look; it's not written anywhere so it's pretty inconvenient. The pour-over I had was very good, but very, very slow. They aren't set up for lots of pour-over orders at once. Disappointingly, the espresso was absolutely terrible, and there is no option to try different beans as espresso. Additionally, seating is very limited inside.
A unique offer at Headrush is to roast a batch of green coffee beans for you to take home. They're obviously very proud of their roaster, placing it right next to the entrance. When roasting, you can smell it in the parking lot. As a home roaster, I'm accustomed to and enjoy the smells of roasting; however those who are unfamiliar will likely find it unpleasant (it is often described as burnt popcorn).
However, it seemed while I was there that the baristas also handled these small-batch roasts. This brings some concern about the quality and consistency of their roasts.

Amazing Coffee, Cheaper then Starbucks and better! I need to edit this to add, I went back today and found out they had a stamp card buy so many get one free type deal. I didn't know they had them and when I was surprised when the lady asked if I had one. I told her no. I wasn't aware of those and I'd been there a couple times. This lady went and got two cards stamp, one stamped full and the other with two stamps and said the next one was on them! Amazing customer service!

As a casual coffee snob, I'll lend my casual expertise to say that this is probably the best coffee in the Northland. The service was great and the barista cared about how the coffee tasted and told me about the products on sight and informed me of the wifi. He genuinely seemed proud of the little shop and that pride can be tasted in the coffee. Overall an excellent coffee shop

This is my absolute FAVORITE coffee spot of ALL of the places I have lived/visited! I am in love with the Spicy Rush, as well as both Headrush locations. I hold many business and non-profit meetings, and I can get so much work done in the cozy setting they have created!

I used to love this place, but the last three times I’ve had the same barista. I order a medium Head Rush which is clearly stated as 16oz on the menu. He hands me a small. I tell him I ordered a medium and in a pretentious tone he explains that “we want you to experience the full flavor of the espresso.” And I tell him that the menu says that a medium is 16oz. He says “if you order a large, you’ll get 16oz.” How does that make sense? If you want to change the way you make the drinks, fine, but update the menu. It has happened to us for the third and last time. We won’t be returning.
