Friendly Bean Coffee

I’ve been getting coffee at Friendly Bean for over 10 years. Easily one of the best coffee shops in KC, Homemade pastries, great staff and the best coffee. They are constantly showing off new combinations.
Today I tried a Curry Ginger Latte. How was it? It was great! Never would I have put those together, but another home run for the Friendly Bean!

I was having a terrible, emotional morning. My uncle had passed a couple hours prior and other issues in my life were occurring as well. I decided to go grab a coffee and drive around for a little to distract myself. I ordered a coffee in the drive thru and after ordering, realized I had left my card for payment at home. The poor barista employee met me at the window and I looked like a mess and apologized for forgetting my card and asked if we could just forget the order. A man (employee) quickly heard what I said and gave me the coffee anyways. They were probably slightly annoyed and just wanted the coffee gone, but they were so nice to me about it, not realizing I had needed someone kind at that time. So, thank you.

Friendly Bean is a locally owned coffee shop - I love that it's not a chain! They have an impressive number of customizable flavors and options and are very reasonably priced. They also have a frequent flyer card - buy 10, get one free. They feature homemade pastries that are truly something special. Their line moves faster than other coffee places, and, bonus: they really ARE friendly!!!

this is my favorite place in the whole wide world. My heart shattered when they got rid of their German chocolate Mocha's and the Cream Cheese Croissants. But the Iced Snow Day Latte makes up for it all

Friendly staff and good coffee. I like how they put the right amount of ice into the drink and not too much like Starbucks does sometimes

Best coffee in town!! I’ve had a Vanilla Latte and a London Fog here, both were amazing!! Their prices are also low compared to other coffee shops.
