Friendly Bean Coffee

Friendly Bean is hard to replace since I moved to Texas. Each time I visit KC Friendly Bean it is always our place to get coffee at either establishment off Barry Rd (drive through only but the lines move quick enough) OR at the Woodneath Library (walk-in with seatings in the cafe area).
Friendly Bean's prices are afforable and better tasting unlike other franchises and over hyped places. Muffins are large sized, made on the premises, and not frozen and brought in. They roast their coffee beans and it is fresh!
I spent under $20 (not including tip) for 3 coffees and 3 muffins. Photo attached is a harvest muffin and italian cappuccino.
Missing Sam and the coffee brew gang, hope to see you all again in February 2023.

Absolutely the best vanilla latte I've ever had. Mocha and coco are also good choices. Just be aware of the line. You are not the first person to be aware they are open; very apparent in the mornings.

I love trying new coffee shops and this place did not disappoint. My go-to drink are iced, oat milk lattes and I have to say I was impressed. It was also slightly cheaper than other shops around. Friendly staff and fast service!

I literally love this place so so much! I am a barista at another company elsewhere but I still come here often. The coffee is always great and so is the service! support small businesses :)!

Gosh I love the friendly bean! It’s probably hands down one of the best coffee shops in the northland, in the Kansas City area for that matter! There’s something about their coffee that I can’t pinpoint exactly, but it’s better than your average run-of-the-mill coffee shop like Starbucks, Caribou, or Scooters by a long shot. Those places are nice too for name recognition, but if you’re looking for supporting local business, Friendly bean is a great place to go! I used to go here a lot and study and get work done in my early days in college. Can’t recommend it enough!

Honestly can’t remember if I’ve already left a review for friendly bean, but I love this place!! It’s my usual coffee shop and I’m admittedly here almost everyday. I order the same thing every time, hazelnut latte, and they make it perfectly every time. Staff is so so nice, and I highly recommend. Their whole menu is great!

I love this place! One of the few independent coffee shops in the Northland. They have a fantastic selection along with seasonal goodies on rotation.

My favorite place! I stop by almost every morning on my way to work. Theyre fast, delicious and everyone is always so nice. They have the best Iced Lavendar Lattes ❤️

I’ve wished we had a little coffee & bookshop by my house for a while and here it is! In the library. I love coming here with my kids. They have an assortment of yummy drinks and baked goods.

I come here so many times in the week I love the coffee and the employees are so sweet and make the best drinks.
