Cozy little coffee shop made out of an old service station. They embrace the service station aesthetic but not in an obnoxious way. Staff are friendly. They serve baked items from Ibis in a more low key setting. Great for sitting outside in a nice day. Parking is often tricky but isn't terrible.

Great experience! Delicious coffee; I had the cold brew, and barista was knowledgeable about the brewing process. Also had a yummy pastry - lots of options. Great atmosphere for catching up with a friend, not only "working" on a laptop. This is my designated meeting spot with one of my friends, and we always enjoy it.

I wasn't a huge fan of the coffee. The service is good and the food was good, but they serve the Bagel and Lox on a tiny little tray that makes it hard to spread your cream cheese on your bagel. The quiche was more like an egg casserole, it didn't have the consistency of a quiche. The look of the place is cool and it was an enjoyable visit, we sat outside, and I like the area.

I have been a regular here for many years. The staff is friendly and the drink selection is amazing. There is a variety of brews and selection of breakfast items/pastries. All of their pies, cookies, etc are made in house and are phenomenal! On warm days there is usually a larger crowd who like to take advantage of the awesome atmosphere and outdoor space. It is easy to become a regular and since there is a small staff they will easily remember your name and order.

Great little neighborhood coffee shop. Decent amount of parking and walkable for a lot of Midtown locals. Great bakery selection including homemade pop tarts to accompany their nice artisan coffee selection. Indoor seating can be limited in the mornings during rush hour. Nice outdoor seating area for warmer days.

This was a beautiful coffee shop with brick aesthetics. Inside they have rolling glass doors too that open to the outside if they wish to. The coffee was good and employees were nice for the most part. They didn't hold a conversation too long but were friendly either way. The location also has an outside deck. From what I hear this was the original location and they expanded to a few more around Kansas City.

Another favorite cafe of mine. Great atmosphere, even greater baristas! They have a black bean and avocado bowl that is to faint for. The white mochas are hit and miss but that has never stopped me from visiting. Thank you Filling Station Midtown! ❤
Update: The white mochas are now always a hit! Thank you for always granting me delicious experiences

A great coffee shop that serves Ibis bakery goods, which makes some of the best croissants in town. It has decent seating but the parking situation can get crowded if you drive in. Their coffee drinks were fantastic, but their drip coffee was overly bitter in a bad way for my taste. 3.5 / 5.

Loved the vibe at this cute little coffee shop. Offer fast service of your just gonna grab coffee and something from the bakery. There's a menu for other breakfast foods but I didn't want anything from it. Indoor space is definitely cramped. But they do have outdoor seating as well for when it's warm.
