Located in the same place as the iconic Muddy's coffee shop, this newer version keeps the eclectic feel and hip vibe of Muddy's with an updated menu and better coffee. Great meet up place for business folks or college students.

Coffee was passable, staff was unfriendly. Felt like I was burdening them for a cup of “premium” coffee, definitely wouldn’t go back solely based on the service. I’d recommend oddly correct or messengers.

The perfect pick me up for those "I wanted to sleep in but instead had to get up and clean my cat's projectile vomit off the window, curtain, and couch" mornings. Great service. Recommend the London Fog.

Incredibly friendly staff, cozy environment, and a great crowd that makes it easy to be productive. Plus, the coffee is top-notch: on par (if not better) than anywhere else in KC. Try the depth charge 😨👌

Great spot for delicious coffee and get your schoolwork done. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Bakery is overpriced. Was sitting on wood stool in concrete corner and had fleas jumping all over me. Coffee is good though. Wouldn't hang out in there.

The Ethiopian coffee was amazing! It had hints of chocolate and raspberries. Absolute delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful!!

This is now my regular neighborhood coffee stop for University District, Crestwood, South Plaza. (It was Aixois but constant rotation of baristas became exhaustive.) I'm a Westport kid at heart and still love a good Broadway excursion. Parisi is nice but a destination. Quay, Second Best, Kaldi's, and Thou Mayest: not my scene. So many other shops around town to consider; I often times wonder why I tried elsewhere. To the lady who mentioned not getting a full mug or cup- I might have complained about the same, but with inquiry, you'll find that an 8oz latte doesn't fill a 12oz mug... an example. "Perceived value". I get it, but also, if you feel like you didn't get what you ordered or you were cheated, bring it up in store and I am sure these skilled folk will either explain the offset or fix an error.
