This place has some really good food and service. I am a truck driver and have been to many places. Mom and pop stops are my favorite. They are worth seeking out. The restaurant is open 24 hours, the service station is not. But they will get you taken care of with a smile on their face! I will definitely stop here again!

I ordered a chicken and fish platter it came with no potatoes and gravy just chicken and fish The fish was cooked so hard that the grease dripped out of the fish I took the chicken home and gave it to my dog The waitresses was more interested in the truck drivers than waiting on regular customers that come in there to eat I will definitely never go back! Yes I know it's a truck stop and you have to be nice to the truckers to get a tip needless to say they should have been nice to regular customers! (Maybe they were looking for a tip but it wasn't the kind of tip you could spend)😡

Haven’t been in since the renovations, but my family has been coming here for probably 40 years. Famous for burgers and hand cut fries, last time we also enjoyed beef vegetable soup and a strawberry icebox pie. All was delicious and everything we’ve ever had is good. Service is always friendly, prices beyond fair. Stop here whenever we’re in the area, wish we had someplace like this in KC! Can’t wait to visit again.
