Corner Cafe Independence

This is the place to go for comfort food.
The tenderloin sandwich was great. Prices have gone up like everyone else. The fries were perfect. Service was faster than expected. I visited at lunch and the place was packed. About a 2 minute wait. The table was clean but very wet. It might help to dry the table. Lots of people working hard. The lemon meringue pie had more meringue than pie. The pie was tasty like your grandmother made.

Biscuit was a little overcooked but other than that great atmosphere & service. A short 10 min wait so easy in. A short 3 drive from Interstate 70 makes it easy in & out for anyone traveling...

My friends and I had lunch here on a Monday around noon. One reason we came here is because you could still order from the breakfast menu if you wanted. We didn't have to wait for a table. It's a large place, and there were still plenty of tables available. Our waitress was very nice, and did a great job. I had a ham and cheese omelet with extra crispy hash browns, and toast. The omelet was good, except I didn't like the cheese slice on the top of the omelet. I didn't know they did that. In the future, I would ask them to leave that off. My hash browns were extra crispy, which I asked for, and were cooked just the way I like them.

Love this place, and somehow my family of 6 only spent 43 bucks total on breakfast and everyone was full 🔥🔥got an apple pie on the way out too because they're the real deal. we'll be back soon for sure!

My favorites is the pork tenderloin sandwich pecan 🥧 all are excellent. Wonderful menu and desserts.🍨 🥧

Pancake was great but my scrambled eggs were soupy. My friend had a great omlet and hasbrowns

Big chunks of fat on the ham in the ham&beans, grossed me out! Also needs more liquid - too dry! Also why sprinkle every dessert with additional sugar? It's overkill!! Leave off the extra!!

Food still good, prices increased more than $2 per item this month. No longer a reasonable price place to eat.

OMG! Food was very good. The help was excellent! Waitresses, & waiters people who cleared the table, even if they were busy they were extremely polite and helpful. I have visited all of the nearby Corner Cafes but this was our first time visiting Independence and they were better than all the others. Kudos to you Independence Corner Cafe!!

It was insanely busy this morning, but we got in fairly quickly, and our server was so sweet and attentive!
