The Country Cafe

I am surprised by the good ratings. I went in there for the first time to order for a client of mine. The staff was extremely rude, they pay you no mind for quite some time. When they remember that you're there, they do bare minimum. They were rude to my client over the phone. People had to go to the front to try and get some service. They treat their regulars better. But gee, don't you want new customers to want to come back? Guess not. The establishment was at least clean looking. The management has a sign saying they'll withhold your check for two weeks if you quit without turning in a two week notice(I think that is illegal to withhold. Get over yourself and don't throw a fit). I think management created a hostile environment for them. If I was not ordering for someone else, I would have walked out. I won't be going back there.

Great place for breakfast! Food is delicious, staff is very friendly, convenient to get to. Prices are fair and portions are good. This is our 3rd time eating here in a month. Each time has been very good. Would definitely recommend them.

Seating upon entrance and wonderful service. A variety of things on the menu for all to enjoy.

I have driven by this place for years but have never stopped because I normally have a dog in the car. Yesterday...we stopped and it was the best breakfast I have ever had! The service was amazing and my husband could order non breakfast food, which was equally amazing. I got the #8, which is a open faced biscuit, eggs, sausage patties ...covered in gravy with hashbrowns. It was the best biscuit I have ever had. Can't wait to go back!!

Good service but the food was mediocre at best.

Excellent fried catfish! I asked for tarter sauce to go with it, but really tasted better without. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish it or take the remainder to go! Waitresses were great and friendly!

Always great! Love the fried chicken! Specials really good! Meatloaf beef and noodles liver and onions! Love this place! My 88 year young mother loves this place!

Another wonderful home town owned and operated eaterie this place has such good food its practically unbelievable!

Clean & well maintained, well staffed with good serving people; great food and awesome site-made bakery items.
