Much better coffee than scooters or starbucks

I hesitate to review this place because then more people will come but, I love the grind!

The owner takes awesome care of all of his customers and goes out of his way to get to know a little about almost everyone who walks through his doors.

It also helps that the coffee is great :)

I'm writing this during my first visit but I will definitely be back. Tons of seating with a mix of couches in with tables and chairs. The menu looks like it has a ton of variety and the coffee is great. This is the perfect place to work or study and there's a small conference room available if you need a good place to meet or practice a presentation.

I love The Grind! It's usually quiet enough to work, and the seating is super comfortable! They serve some of the best coffee in town. I enjoy coming in and spending some time reading or writing or just relaxing.

First time here, asked the Barista what her favorite drink was and that I would take a large! Can’t remember what it was called but very good recommendation! Nice atmosphere as well.

This is obviously a study hotspot for students, but it's also a good place to hang out and chat with friends. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxed, and the owner and staff are wonderful. There's a huge variety of drinks, with everything from a basic dark roast to a raspberry truffle mocha latte, and a good selection of the typical pastries and other coffee shop goodies.

Love hanging out here. If you're not a fan of being around young people, this is not the place for you. Although they're usually just studying/doing school work. I always get the mocha latte. Coffee's good! 👌

Hidden gem on the south side of Columbia! Awesome coffee, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. As I sat drinking my coffee, I noticed multiple tables of people just enjoying the space and having conversations. Very much so a cozy and welcoming place to spend a few hours.

Great coffee shop for studying, owner is very involved in the daily business and goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone is taken care of properly. Printing service is available (only coffee shop in Columbia to offer this!!) for a small fee of 10¢ per page. Overall I would highly recommend this to a student looking to study for a upcoming test, or anyone that is just looking for their coffee fix in a laid back environment with a fantastic atmosphere and of course great coffee!

Stopped by while driving through Columbia. They're the only coffee shop we could find that was open past 8pm, and the coffees were excellent! Super clean shop and chill atmosphere.
