Steamy Joe Cafe

Unbelievable experience. Ordered at counter, two omelets and 2 Diet Cokes. Time of order was 11:11am. Asked about our order at 11:41am (30 minutes after placing order), was told they were running a little behind. Asked again at 12:01pm (50 minutes after placing order), was told it shouldn’t be much longer. At 12:16pm (1 hour and 5 minutes after placing order), we were told they were running behind and it would be at least another 30 minutes before they even started making our order. We had another place to be, so we asked for, and received, a full refund. Cannot comment on food, will not comment on service, just presenting the facts. Take them as you will.

The only good thing about this place is the view. The food is terrible. Hashbrowns were raw, biscuits were hard as rock and crunchy, bacon was in little bits, serving sizes were tiny. The worst part was the service, their seating and order process was ridiculous, the lines and wait times were backed up, totally a self induced limitation. overall don't waste your time or money here.

Although the food was good, the layout and setup of the cafe is horrible. We were told to wait for table it would 20 minutes. What they didn’t say was after you get a table, you have to get up and order at counter that is another 14-20 minute wait depending on how many people are in front of you and how many people they are ordering for. Then you have to wait another 30-45 minutes (on a Saturday, if you are lucky) to get your food. Which you have to pick up yourself, along with silverware and everything else. I only gave 1 star because the food was good otherwise this would a zero star review. I have traveled across the states and never been to a worse layout and system than this.

We stumbled upon this gem for breakfast this morning after refusing to wait for over an hour at a renowned competitive Breakfast restaurant. The owners were generous, friendly, accommodating and attentive. We gave up 16” pancakes from the well known competitor but received 6” pancakes that tasted like cake!!! Oh my Goodness. Don’t look any further. That is the place! Thank you for a wonderful breakfast experience.

We love Steamy Joe!! The food is delicious (love the baked goods!) - the staff is so friendly & helpful & attentive - and the live music is great! We have recommended this place to many friends & family - & got rave reviews from them, too!!

Very cozy. Quick service and excellent flavored breakfast food. This will be added to our list of Branson spots for sure. Can see why so many other people have given a good review of this gem.

Don’t waste your time, at least not on Saturday. We got there at 10 am, stood in line for 15 mins to order and didn’t get our food served to us until 11:30. Our biscuits and gravy were Luke warm, bacon was flimsy, not crispy at all, and pancake looked pitiful. Staff was polite, but no where is honestly worth the wait like that. People ahead of us were asking for refunds because they were going to miss show times. Several people asked for to go boxes as soon as their food came out so they could leave. Not worth it.

This is my new favorite breakfast spot!! The food was delicious and the view is amazing. Very pretty spot and friendly people. Joey was friendly and very helpful with the menu options.

when we arrived there was a line of people waiting to order which caused a lot of chaos. you order at one counter then find a table to sit at and wait for your pager to go off. we waited well over an hour for food. while others walked out. we were about to walk out as it was getting a bit ridiculous. The only positive we had during this visit was the staff. I think things would go more smoothly if they actually seated people and knew what or how long people have been waiting. Not sure we will ever go back

My son and I were out running errands on a Saturday and popped in for a bite to eat and a coffee. The staff really made you feel comfortable and at home while the food was delicious. I can't wait to take my wife there for lunch soon!
