Solid biscuits and gravy made from scratch. I've had sawmill gravy in cafes that was so-so, even though it was made from scratch, and was hopeful but prepared to be let down. I wasn't. It was excellent. Some of the best I've had in a diner/cafe. I even got some to go (haven't found really good B&G in Springfield yet). Some have complained about the lack of sausage - this wasn't the case for my order. Plenty of it, pic posted.

Branson Cafe was recommended to us by a friend. We were not disappointed! Great food and service. We will be back!

Quaint little place that's been around for over a century. I had the Frito Chili Pie and my wife had the Country Fried Steak. As a Texan, the chili just wasn't what I'm used to. This chili was sweet, probably what a Yankee would call chili. No hint of chili powder, cumin, or garlic. The chicken fried steak (country fried as anybody North of the Red River would say) was very tasty! Many restaurants might give you a large CFS, but half of it is just batter. Branson Cafe gives you a nice size CFS that has the perfect batter to meat ratio. The batter is seasoned well, and the mashed potatoes are homemade. We were too full to eat a giant slice of homemade pie. We'll have to return for that.

This is a great, small town kind of feel, restaurant. We had breakfast there on father's day and it was delicious. My husband said it was the best breakfast that he's had at a restaurant in a while. My omelette was really good. The meals were a good size and not too expensive. I would definitely recommend!

Breakfast orders were all cooked to perfection. Country fried steak with gravy melted in my mouth with terrific flavor on 10/24/22. Great cook that morning!

We spent five days in Branson. On day 1 we had supper at the Branson Cafe. It was like a breath of fresh air stepping in there - a simple, quiet atmosphere and the air was filled with the smell of good cooking. We liked it so much we ate there three times in five days.

The menu is pretty simple with a decent variety of down home cooking: omelets, sandwiches, burgers, etc. and dessert. Staff is very nice.
