The donuts here are amazing. We used to have one in Springfield Missouri and I remember it being very good. I forgot just how good very good was. I got the original glazed donut and a sour cream old fashioned donut. The old fashioned was good but the original glazed is probably hands down the best original glazed donut you can get anywhere. I usually judge glazed donuts by either being melt in your mouth delicious or by having a firm texture with a little substance that gives a great mouth feel. Lamar's glazed donut does both as you bite into it the sweetness it melts in your mouth but yet you still feel like you had something of substance remarkable. My son got their version of a Bavarian cream Long John it was so tender and filled with the sweetest Bavarian cream I think I've ever had I only had a bite wish I had more. If you ever see a LaMar's donut make sure to stop and try it I recommend all of their donuts but make sure to get an original glazed donut you will not be disappointed.

Omg, they had banana donuts, and just as I thought it was so so GOOD. ALL OF their donuts are out of this world. Will be going back.

$3 for an Apple fritter with little to no filling and the taste isn’t as good as it was years ago. If your going to increase prices don’t reduce the amount of filling. If you like Apple Fritters don’t waste your time, find a Dunkin Donuts and pay $2. To me this place use to be the best donut place in the city. I will not eat here again. Two stars is for the good customer service!
