It was a very busy little place. But then, we were there shortly after noon so the church crowd was there. Seats began emptying and we were seated after about a five minute wait and served within 15 minutes of being seated.
There is a fixed menu but the beef tips over rice was great. Portions are huge. There is a meat and three sides, drink, dessert and bread all for $12. If you leave hungry, it's because you just didn't eat your food.
Loved it and would go again next time I'm in Mississippi.

Meh, second time.. last time.
3 of 4 people's side items were served lukewarm. One of the sides (okra) was re-fried instead of re-cooked..
Country Fried Steak sandwich was good. Catfish (x2) was good. Fried porkchop was good. Shame they can't get the timing right for side items..🤦🏻♂️
Buttermilk pie was good. Coffee was good, but no travel lid? The kid told me I could get a straw by the register. .... For my hot coffee, in styrofoam cup? Got it..
There's a staunch sense of idgaf in this place. Guess you have to be local to like it. 🤷🏻♂️👎🏻👎🏻

The food was great as always, the waitress was he bit slow, that's okay too,but it was so cold that our food was cold before we finished. This is a great place to eat, but take a jacket.

Today was horrible. Service bad. Food bad. Biscuit hard as a rock. Server didn’t slow down enough to make sure our food was right. Which it wasn’t. After leaving there now I’m sick. Just all around bad today.

What a gem! Found this place while driving through town. Great atmosphere and country cooking. Breakfast all day. Just walk in and seat yourself.

Don't let the outside fool you, large restaurant with rustic appeal. Food was very good, restrooms clean.

Enjoyed the food. Waitress was wonderful!! Additionally, on 6-18-22, the waitress Marleigh was so sweet. My husband and I ate out two days in a row. He really liked the chicken strip dinner and I liked the patty melt with fries. We enjoyed the service and atmosphere!!
