Civilization has come to Oxford.... A solid Boba Tea cafe (national chain franchise). Drinks were good and legit. Had the Taiwanese popcorn (chicken) too and that was solid (not the best, could have been a bit more salty but the real thing). Opened up just before the COVID-19 fiasco, but hope it stays around for a while.

They literally just served me rotten chicken.
My bf and I both ordered popcorn chicken and mine was gray with dark spots on it. The box had smaller pieces less chicken in than usually is included, so it really looks like they opted to use up the leftover chicken that had gone bad instead of preparing fresh chicken. I sliced the remaining pieces in my meal and over half of them were gray.
Since the pieces were small and the spice covered much of the flavor, I had several them before I took a bite of a bigger one and actually saw how bad it looked. I am absolutely disgusted and I honestly would not be surprised if they just gave me food poisoning.

Okay Vietnamese food. Good broth and noodles in my chicken pho, but meat was tasteless. Great flavored drinks.

UPDATE: Used to be 5 stars. Unfortunately, it has significantly and continuously gone downhill since the “re-opening” earlier this year.
They have made sad and degrading changes to their ingredients. Particularly, the tea and coffee used as a base for their boba drinks is now much weaker. The food does seem to be improved, but the prices are outrageous for the taste and the quality.
The atmosphere is completely changed (and not for the better). They made the utterly baffling decision to change out the lovely natural and custom lighting for standard white fluorescent office lights. The new lighting makes it miserable to sit in there now.
The staff is completely new and seems poorly trained. They often are confused about how to ring up menu options or need to remake drinks a second time after bringing them out.
And the final straw that lost my love for Mi & Tea was today: they NO LONGER accept punch cards. For years I have come in and gotten a little stamp on my card. Every ten or so stamps was a free drink. I was informed by the cashier that they stopped doing that this week (it’s Monday). There was no notice. No sign. No post. Nothing. Not that I’m owed anything, but the disregard (or disrespect) for loyal customers is distasteful and off-putting. If you’re going to end the program, maybe at least honor my existing / last card?
Anyway, I probably sound old and crabby for disliking change… BUT I LOVED Mi & Tea before it re-opened this year. Now I think I’ll mostly drive by it sadly, longingly wishing it had never changed from the perfection it used to be.

Out of boba pearls. I was so excited too. Flavor was great last time, tai tea was just okay this time.

First time back since the reopening and I love their new menu items. Wish they could’ve kept some variations for the sandwiches and some of the snack items, but everything is very good and well worth the price. I had the taro smoothie and beef vermicelli bowl. Very fresh ingredients.

This is my favorite boba/pho shop. Every time i’m in town I make sure I come here :)

They change the prices on their menu and then you don't find out until you go to pay. I absolutely hate that. That's bad business.

The store was very cute and clean. The popcorn chicken was absolutely delicious. The tea was also very nice but I would recommend just ordering their regular sugar level of drinks cause they aren't very sweet like I thought they would be. Overall a very nice place to stop for a drink and a bite
