The hostess with the ‘trick or treat hairdo’ and nose ring was rude , unwelcoming and acted like she didn’t want to be there, let alone seat us. Food was Bland and atmosphere looked very anti Italian .
Pizza /Bread /salad were good.
Tried two Pastas both were pretty bland.

Fantastic homemade food. Mario walks around and talks with patrons giving the restaurant an intimate atmosphere where you know the guy that cooks your food. The rest of the staff is friendly and the food is great. We'll be going back to try the many different kinds of pizzas. So many sound delicious!

Went here for date night on a Friday. We were seated promptly, which was nice since we had called around and other restaurants had a wait time of 30+ minutes. The server was friendly but clueless on the menu and dishes, even though she didn't seem new. We ordered a bottle of malbec but they were out, so settled for a generic red. I can't recall what it was but it was mediocre and obviously not memorable. We put in an order for the chicken wings as an appetizer, which seems random for an Italian eatery but we were open to trying, and then 5 minutes later when the server came to take our dinner order we were told they didn't have any wings left. By that point we were pretty disappointed but tried to have a good attitude about it. We ordered the risotto and carbonara; our entrees and side salads came out quickly. The Caesar salads were good with crisp romaine lettuce and a creamy dressing. However, nothing outstanding. The risotto was cooked perfectly; creamy and well flavored. The Carbonara was terrible. Not sure why they would use cream in a Carbonara, and then to add insult to injury, topped it with a poached egg instead of the typical raw egg. The dish was overly salted and we had no desire to finish it or take it home. The server never checked on us again after she dropped off our food and we had to flag her down to pay our check. We left highly disappointed and tried not to let it put a damper on the rare date night we had as parents of a newborn. We like to support local restaurants but the disappointing food and service doesn't inspire us to go back.

It's pretty okay pizza, however the prices are to be desired for what seems like average pizza. Lovely atmosphere and all that, but but your menu is small and could do with some added items that could be less than $10 I think a place like this would do better if they had more competitive pricing and didn't charge for literally every single topping. Also having only one style of crust gets pretty boring, unfortunately they don't come near to how D'vincis pizza was.

Nice to have something a lil different nearby. Not the greatest food we've ever had but the service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. My 9 year old son was a little disappointed that he wasn't able to order additional meatballs so he says he won't be going back...lol

Went here on a blind social media recommendation after seeing the picture of the prime rib. We made reservations for Saturday (needed, they were full) and were immediately seated. 3 in our party order pasta dishes, but I went right to work. Prime Rib, medium rare. I frequently order prime rub from many upper end restaurants and frequently am disappointed. Not this time. Never have I had such a favorable cut of the most tender meat ever. And instead of a football size bake potato, some piping hot pan fried potatoes and asparagus came with. Superb! We live in the cities, but will gladly made the 30 trek west if they continue to pay this kind of attention to detail. Negatives, not much. 2 wines were not available leaving the selection of available reds to only 2. Desserts were fantastic as well.

I've been looking forward to going to Mario's for ages! The building is a wonderful renovation with plenty of space and high ceilings. The service was impeccable, but the main attraction was the food, which was wonderful! I had their chicken parmigiano, which was just perfect! I'll be back!! 👍🌹

I love this place. Weekends are the best with the special menu and live music. I wish it had a better wine selection but you can bring your own. The corking fee is only $5. Can't beat the prices too.

Was spending the day with my nieces, and decided to try something new. Mario's was a bit of a drive for us, but I had heard it was good, and well, what's a little drive for good pizza. We arrived late afternoon and thankfully they weren't too busy as we we starving! We ordered two pizza's, a pepperoni and a vegetarian. It took about 20 minutes for our pizza's to be ready, (which it should for a true pizza), and they were immediately inhaled!! This was some of the best pizza we have had in awhile. It was well worth the drive and cannot wait for our next daytrip to visit. Good job Mario's!!
