I wasn't even hungry, and I tried the Walleye breakfast because why the hell not? I really want breakfast sausage, but it's Lake of the Woods, lets spend a few extra $$$ and get the walleye.

I ate all of it.

Best walleye I've had in my life, no cap. Had acid reflux for the rest of the day, but it was worth it. Not only will I go to Joe's Place again, but I'll demand that everyone get the walleye breakfast.

My father bristled when I said it was the best walleye I've had in my life. He is a walleye fisherman and was a chef at a fine dining restaurant in his 20s so he has a lot of misplaced pride in thinking that he's good, but the truth is he downs a pint of vodka by the time the food is ready... I didn't know grilled chicken could be moist, delicious, and not black until I was 20 when someone else grilled some up for me.

Eggs were done as I asked. Hashbrown proportions were just right, like Perkins and a special shout out to the waitress who gave me my bill on the early side. I appreciate that. Got places to go and things to do on a week day.

Not to knock on the "atmosphere" but it's just not cozy. It just doesn't have that breakfast diner feel. It's "hollow" in there. Not sure what you can do about it, just keep making great food, but the "feeling" was 'off' the moment I stepped in the door.

Blah blah blah, effing amazing walleye breakfast. Can't wait to feel hungry again.

I love Joe's Place! It offera something different and bright in Warroad. Its not a sports atmosphere. Just a quaint quiet place where the locals come for breakfast and lunch.
The owner is amazing! She is friendly, cares about her customers and what they like or dont like on the menu, and very knowledgeable about good food...she is the Chef in the Kitchen! Mixing, Flipping, and Singing! ❤️

This place sounded like a great idea for something new in the area to grab a bite. This was not a great idea. The service was subpar and the food was bland and served luke warm at best. This was super disappointing given the reviews I’d read and the impressive webpage they have. If the service would have been better I might have given this an extra star but honestly none of the FOH staff seemed like they even wanted to be there.

Wow! Awesome little place. I love a good eggs Benedict, and they fulfill it. Hollandasie sauce is homemade and delicious.

Incredible breakfast. If you are passing through Warroad, I highly recommend stopping in. No cheap bacon (super thin cut) here.

Walked in at 11:55 and we're told we couldn't eat they closed in 5 minutes but hours say open til 2! Never again will I recommend or eat at this rude retaraunt!

Ate a great lunch one day while in Warroad. Now my favorite place to eat here!! Had to have breakfast the next day at Joe's. Huge pancakes for you hungry folks.

Excellent service and amazing food.

If you remember the Kozy Kitchen on Main Street you will feel at home. What a great Homestyle comfort food diner with great cook and staff at very reasonable prices!!

If you leave hungry it won't be their fault!

Have frequented this place multiple times. The food is always amazing and the portions are very generous. If my kids approve, it has to be a good place. I'd recommend this establishment

Service has been improving steadily since they opened, which is to be expected for a new business. The food quality is fantastic and portion size is exactly perfect! I have to say, the decor is top notch! I felt like I was back in New England. Great work!
