My grandmother and I had a long day in a car, hadn't eaten anything in hours, and decided to try this cafe. Walking in, the cafe looked beautiful. I was overjoyed to try the food. We seated ourselves, and the waitress got us out drinks. My grandmother asked if they had salads, and the woman who served us had a rude attitude. We asked if they had any fruit, and she rudely said no. I work in food business, I understand how stressful it is to meet customers satisfactory needs, especially if the customer was persistent. But we were not. The attitude of the waitress completely ruined the atmosphere. My grandmother settled for a California burger, and I settled for the veggie omlet. When we got our food, my grandmothers burger was still slightly pink on the inside, and my omlet had cold vegetables in it still. I was not satisfied with the service, and our food needed more time to properly cook. i have been to many restaurants in my lifetime, and this experience was easily the worst. That was easily the worst spent 22$.

I love this small town cafe! Huge servings & fast friendly service. The mushroom swiss omelette was huge with fresh from the potato hash browns! Well worth the stop.

We had a similar experience to Priscilla. We decided to stay for an overall okay experience. Not good, but okay. When we got the bill there was a forced 20% increase in cost. After looking at the situation, our group, and the restaurant, our best guess is an increase in cost related to our choice in mask. Our city that we come from is having severe problems with covid, so we wear them wherever we go. We thought it may be a forced tip, but considering the nature of what a tip is, that is ridiculous.

No masks no social distancing in the very small restaurant. When we asked the owner how come they weren’t masks, She replied because we don’t want to. My husband and I got up and walked out. As we walk through the town I noticed that the other stores required a mask and social distancing. We did not feel safe in that restaurant.

My favorite of all time for breakfast! Great food, very polite & prompt service. It's a landmark on the streets of Walker. Bring an appetite- their breakfast won't leave you wanting. Just plain AWESOME!

Great food, great service. We brought a crowd of 20 plus people and they were so accommodating!

Service was sorry to say not good. They messed up several orders and acted like it was our fault. Under cooked, cold pancakes. Bacon was barely cooked. This was a very bad experience and breakfast situation.

Perfect breakfast muffin with cottage bacon was delicious. Perfect crispy bacon and kids loved the pancakes. Small collection of books for kids and cozy atmosphere.
