The Daily Grind Espresso Cafe

Adorable, cozy local coffee shop with a book store attached. The wife-husband team that run it are kind, prompt and make great food and drinks. Their iced tea is fantastic, and both our lattes (nutty Irishman and naughty Norwegian) were delicious. The scones and breakfast sandwiches were delightful. Will be returning on our next visit.

Good comfortable coffee spot with friendly service. Only issue is the 1 hour time limit otherwise would have been 5 stars. Up the time limit to 2hrs or even 1.5 and you have 5.

Simply the best coffee shop in Stillwater. Patio seating available, and an adjacent independent book store. A local favorite :-)

A great coffee shop with lots of hometown love. Come in and support a great locally owned shop with great coffee, pastries and food. They do so much for the community. Pay it forward is at 228 days and growing. Watching people come in and not have to pay for their coffee because someone has already covered the cost is awesome. Cool shop downtown Stillwater overlooking the River and the lift ridge!

I was very disappointed with the staff this morning. We walked in around 12:30, as we saw the open sign was still on. The male barista roles his eyes when he saw us and rushed us through our order. He was shouting to the other barista that he is going to close the coffee shop down as soon as these people leave. There were still a lot of people in the coffee shop still eating and drinking. He started closing the coffee shop and rushed us out telling everyone that we would have to use the lever on the door to get out. I will not be coming back to this coffee shop.

Fantastic small coffee shop! Baristas were friendly and the view of the St. Croix river was unbeatable. Coffee was good too. Highly recommend.

Small town feel coffee shop. Delicious mocha. With the friendly atmosphere and picturesque river outside, felt like being in a Hallmark movie.

Take the direct entrance but they are attached to a bookstore so get a Nutty Irishman to sip while you look for Greg Iles books
