Update 7/31/21: the person working was fabulous from the moment we started chatting with her! So personable and kind!

The coffee was excellent, but the service was slow and the only person working did not seem overly excited to be working or to talk to anyone. He made amazing coffee, though! Super cute location across the street from the baseball stadium.

My iced latte was cold, like the barista.
Hope your day gets better, man!
Great location and a good place to connect with others or work.

If I could give no stars I would. I asked for a large they gave me a small. No problem... I told the Guy Who made my drink and he said no I was wrong then proceeded to take 2 customers ahead of me. The coffee is not very good and it's $8.50 for a small small dirty chai.... If you are going to charge that much you should at the bare minimum have good customer service..

End of story I got a refund and walked out. I prefer small owned Businesses as I have a few of my own. There are many cafes in Saint Paul that are better .. I'm off to Nina's lol

It was a pleasure to meet the True Stone team and enjoy my favorite coffee brand. During my 4 day trip to St. Paul we enjoyed their consistency and innovation with their menu which includes basic espresso drinks as well as coffee mocktails like the incredible coffee Mojito. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend them highly and will now be able to enjoy them at home because they have a subscription service!

Shame on me for not noticing The Woodsman was only 4oz for $4.5 but it was terrible regardless. The seeds that were put on top got soggy by time I walked the block back to my apartment and the drink tasted more like oat milk than coffee. It looked cool while it was being made so that counts for something I suppose. For $4 I could have got the cold brew which probably would have tasted better and come in a bigger portion.

My brother ordered the Northern Comfort (iced) which was a solid drink. It tasted more like oat milk instead of espresso again, but the flavors were good. Maybe it would taste better hot. It would be nice to know how many shots of espresso are in the drinks so people can decide if they want another shot of it.

The staff was friendly and the inside is charming. Based on the drinks we ordered I wouldn’t come back. However, I’d possibly come back and try the cold brew or one of their pour over options to get a taste of the coffee on its own.

Really lovely service, greeted right away and the coffee was made quickly. A bit overwhelmed by the unique drink varieties on the menu but pleased with the flower child iced coffee! The barista was friendly and helpful- will definitely stop here again :)

I grabbed coffee to go here a month ago and instantly fell in love with them. The coffee was so good that i almost instantly ordered a 2LB bag from them. I had a little trouble at first dialing it in so i reached out to them to see if they had any advice.
The GM wrote me back and gave an amazing write-up of different tips to get my brew to extract all the right flavors from the beans that i had purchased.

Their customer service went above and beyond what I expected and they have truly made me a diehard fan by showing me how passionate they are about their product.

Loved this coffee shop! One of my new favorites. Their vanilla latte was incredible, made with vanilla syrup from a real vanilla bean. The atmosphere was perfect - cozy, warm, modern and bright. The building is located around the corner from a farmers market and attached to a fish market! This is for sure going to be my go-to coffee shop every time I’m in St. Paul. 🙌🏼🙌🏼

DO NOT order online, it’s a mess, I waited for 15 min on the cold stoop multiple times!! Also don’t ever try to email Chris “the manager” with opportunities for this business he never responds!
