This type of establishment is exactly what I love to walk into. Clean, friendly, charming, and a whole lot of vinyl! The staff is absolutely friendly and phenomenal. No pretentiousness here! Please try the peach concoction that they make! I forgot the name but it has peach in it and the young woman who suggested it was not wrong it is one of my favorite drinks! Great atmosphere a must visit!

Cadence is a gem of the East Side, an eclectic record store and coffee shop with a unique, creative selection of specialty beverages and music to suit any interest.

Alongside daily business, the shop is often a host to various events, art shows and gatherings, as well as concerts on the stage in the back of the store.

The staff here are great, friendly and welcoming, which, alongside the warm physical space, creates a lovely atmosphere.

Vinyl and coffee!?! Score!
A hidden gem of a coffee spot! Good coffee and quick bites!
Super chill vibe. Clean. Nice staff and a great outdoor seating space! I'll be back.

Love this place. We moved to the area and Caydence quickly became a favorite place to grab coffee and now BREAKFAST. Whatever secret green sauce is served with the breakfast sandwich and tacos should be jarred and sold. They're great people with great coffee and awesome music and art.

Super cool spot! The coffee is great and they’ve got an assorted selection of music. The atmosphere is friendly as well as the staff, great conversation. They’ve got a cool venue in the back for concerts as well.

I don't go to St Paul very often, I actually came here to get my son's uniforms but they weren't open until 10:00 a.m. so we decided to stop for coffee. Definitely get their coffee cake. It's a little bit spendy but I'm assuring you it's worth it. I love how there are records here and even a section dedicated to heavy metal / death metal. Love the Vibe it was pretty quiet so if you are somebody who is a student and wants to find a nice place to study this is it. They also have an outdoor patio where you can read your books and drink as well.

Great little shop with a good selection of records and a space in the back for live music (which was the reason I was there). Definitely worth a visit! My Matcha tea latte was excellent as well.
The live music venue portion of the shop is no larger than a two-car garage, which is a consideration if you are like me and like to hide during live music events (Band vocalist: “Hey you, tall guy! C I R C L E P I T” Me: “Ah crap”)

I've always enjoyed my visit here. Service, coffee, and pastries have always been great! Atmosphere is chilled & laid back. Can't go wrong.

Hosts did not greet us while we were waiting to order. We had to catch their eye. Good coffee and ambience.

Lovely customer service and a great atmosphere. Very clean as well. Beverages are a little bit pricey compared to some other places, but personally, I don't mind paying more for a great coffee. Just something to keep in mind in case you're on a budget. The record selection was pretty decent considering the small space. Overall, I highly recommend and definitely will be coming back.
