Got a mocha from Backstory. Just divine. Rich, dark chocolate. Savory brew. Frothy foam. Not too hot. 10/10.

A friend recently introduced me to Bootstrap and I was so impressed! My friend ordered the Strawberry Shortcake Oat Milk latte and I was put off by the name. It sounded like an overly sweet dessert coffee, and I am not a fancy, sweet coffee girl. I down simple espresso shots like they're nothing and drink my coffee black. I asked about added sugar and they said there was none. Ok, so I ordered one, but at $6 I can't see ordering every day. However, since it was a special day having coffee with a friend, I went for it. It was DIVINE! I totally respect the creative risk-taking that you don't often see here in the Twin Cities! Seriously: Try their specially crafted drink! You won't regret it.

Even better, try it on their patio if the weather allows. For pandemic times, the very brilliantly installed a patio with a fire pit. If the weather does not allow, then just order at the walk up window and head back to your car, home or office -- whichever makes you happier! :)

We try to support as many independent coffee houses as we can with weekly (or more often) visits. Our first visit to Bootstrap was awesome. We could immediately see the knowledge and passion of those helping us with questions and then, our order. Then we received our coffee, a simple medium blend and a cappuccino. I can honestly say, the flavor reached another level from anything we had previously tasted on our journeys. It's worth the drive and I'm already looking forward for another visit.

Asked for my beans to be ground 'as coarse as possible' twice and both times they gave me medium grind. I'm willing to buy the idea that their machine can only go down to medium but it kind of seemed like they heard the words 'cold brew' and decided to give me their version of a cold brew grind instead of mine

Very nice patio and they did give me whatever goofball mixed drink I asked for so I'm not as annoyed as I could be

Loved both the hot and cold miel coffees. Also got a bag of coffee to brew at home, can't wait to try it. Staff is very friendly.

My new favorite coffee shop! The espresso is so smooth. The bakery items are very tasty and fresh. Only thing that I would change is having larger sizes for iced drinks because I always want more of their lattes!

Their coffee and beans are really good. I like how they have their own specialty crafted drinks that are so innovative and unique to their business. If you want to try something new with a coffeeful experience, go here. Friendly staff and patio seating. Also, support local coffee shops!

Friendly staff, they were quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable for the area. Pastries were really good and fresh. Drink was a little on the sweet side and not as good as I remember them, but will give them a try again when in the area.

The most special coffee shop and place, I’ve been in some time. I was captivated and blissed out by the entire experience, including the opportunity to meet Billy! GOLD.
