One word- Yum! Our coffee was the maple cappuccino. Couldn’t have been more perfect. The chocolate chip cookies were still warm and the lemon cone was delicious too. It’s a quiet cafe with lots of individual work areas. Large are at the window to enjoy. The store itself is full of beautiful things for the holidays or your home garden, depending on the time of year. It’s currently fall- so Christmas trees, seed packets for winter seed sowing and birdseed, flower pots and bird feeders are in abundance. In the newly added on green house, your heart will find more than a few plants you need to take home. Everything is healthy and a higher quality then the grocery store plants to say the least. Plus you have experts to tell you how to care for them. The restrooms were clean, and close to the greenhouse area. The customer service at the cafe was extremely helpful and personable. They offered suggestions and explained menu options which influenced our choice, leaving us very happy trying something new. They open early and close in the evening. Can’t wait to go back.
My wife and I stopped in on our way through Rochester. Great tasting coffee, friendly staff, tasty empanadas. They forgot to make my coffee initially, but when I told them it was no issue and they made it right away. The cafe is located in the same building as a greenhouse and there is additional seating in the greenhouse area where you can sit amongst the plants. I thought that was a very unique feature I've not experienced anywhere else.
This shop is sooo cute! I love all the plants. 10/10 aesthetic and vibes. The coffee was also very tasty and pairs well with the upbeat staff serving it. I appreciate the level of care to make guests feels welcome and have an enjoyable experience. They use JBC coffee which has great cupping scores and was very tasty in their drinks.
Beautiful spot! You are greeted by fresh air and nice plants. We came here for a cappuccino before my appointment at Mayo. It definitely helped relax me coming here.
Fantastic rosemary lemon scone which I wouldn’t normally order, it had hints of cardamom and paired perfectly with a cappuccino.
The sizes for coffee seem a bit on the smaller side, but it is good and the Affogato is delicious. The cold coffee is not so good though and that is why I took 1 star off. All in all a great little spot and we will definitely be returning.
We need more of these awesome places especially in winter. Please update your food option. The scones are too sweet. Coffee can also be better. Thank you so much for being open though. It's always super busy there.
This is a wonderful location, and I am very glad that Sargent's added this Cafe space. That said, it is a difficult place to stop in for a quick cup of coffee, because you have to park get out and go in and wait in line to order, and there are usually only a couple of people working at a time and it takes quite a while to make drinks. If you have time though, it is a beautiful and comfortable place to sit and read and have coffee or a snack. The food available is definitely more for snacks and not for meals. Most of the drinks seem to be espresso-based, which makes it hard to know what to get if you are not fond of overly dark coffee. Aside from the seating in the cafe, there are garden tables available in the greenhouse area, and outside next to the entrance to Sargent's, from spring to fall.
Only tried the latte, but it was so good I came back and had the same thing! I got mine with oat milk and the caramel syrup/flavoring. It's within the greenhouse store, so the atmosphere is very nice and unique. Highly recommend if you're visiting Rochester MN
Contemporary decor and relaxed ambiance. Fast WIFI and lots of tables with low enough music to work remotely. It’s attached to Sargent’s nursery so let’s of plants which gives it an outdoorsy feeling. The coffee is really good, different latter flavors. Their Pão de Queijo is delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Lots of natural light.

This is definitely my favorite place in Rochester! It is so beautiful, and I love to sit and read in the greenhouse:)
