Hugo's Family Marketplace

I always went to the menahga store on the way to the cabin until they changed owners. So I stopped at Hugo's in Park rapids and now that's the place to go when I walked in I said wow looks really nice sure the prices are high but they are not. lots of great deals and selections , also great service . Love this place

There is no end to the pleasantries found when shopping, or interacting with any member of the Hugo's team. Truly a remarkable shopping experience. Thank you Park Rapids Hugo's.

However if it is posted online as a 24 hour store I would expect that when I get to the door at 1:30 in the morning it be opened.

I like the hot and cold salad bars with variety of dishes. They also have various salads that are great. They have custom foods for health too and can pick up a postcard.

Man, got some boneless ribeyes. They were a great cut of meat and great price. We have shopped here for years on our trip up north. Good quality store.

Very clean, well-stocked, fairly priced grocery store! Again, warm & friendly staff (& customers)! Makes me home-sick for my Upper Midwest roots!!!

Great place, great employees. I'm rather confused over the recent change to closing at night. The same employees still work at night doing the same as they ever did, just the store misses out on any possible profits they would have made in this time. A few moments every so often to deal with a paying customer is in my opinion certainly worth the good pr even if its not terribly profitable. Hugos used to be my choice store to get my middle of the night needs. Sandy and the night crew are awesome! Seems at this point it just forces me to Walmart now, and I have noted that I am not going to Hugos near as much as a result. Most of my shopping now goes elsewhere now because of my schedule. I am in town either really late, or really early in the morning when is Hugo no longer open.

Be careful when you buy the food there. They don't rotate their food. Go into produce and the lettuce expires the next day. They have gotten better at their ground meat, before the packages would be very bloody.

I like Hugo's, it's probably the cleanest and nicest looking grocery store in town.

Their bakery is hit or miss, good deli, and meat counter. Try the bacon and chedder half pound burgers!!!! Mmmmmmm

One of the best burgers in town. The deli offers a bacon cheese burger and fries for under 6$. They have a great Ruben too. Best secret place to eat during the day
