School House Cafe

Sue and Yvonne took very good care of us today! This pineapple scone with coconut frosting was amazing!! (Sue doesn’t use a recipe. That’s how good she is!) Dad’s Turn to Cook was great! The only complaint was that we needed a bigger plate. 😉 The homemade sweet rye bread was so good we took a loaf home with us!

We Stopped at the School House Cafe and the food was delicious and the restaurant itself was nice and clean and unique!!! This is definitely a restaurant to stop at when you're driving through McGregor MN!!! I ordered the Kitchen Sink and my hubby ordered the Country Skillet, we would definitely come back if we're ever in the area!!!

Cute little cafe with a cozy atmosphere. Tons of things to look at and keep you busy while you wait for some yummy flavors of icecream, (pirates booty) is my favorite and the French vanilla latte was amazing on a cold, rainy summer day.

What a great little place!!! Food was excellent and a quaint atmosphere. All of the staff was great! I recommend!

Wonderful portions of food! Cook was by herself taking orders and preparing food! Friendly 🙂 and our meals came out so hot and tasty!

Drove by this place many times never knew it was there. Found it on only in MN decided to drive up and check it out. Was well worth the drive. The food was amazing. The ladies working where so fin even taunted my husband in to buying a cinnamon roll and a Carmel roll.the decor was very nestalgic.

Food was awesome! Huge portions and great service! I will highly recommend.

It's a bit expensive but you also get a mountain of food so the value is good. Overall one of the best cafes I've been to in a while.

The breakfast here is amazing!!! Want to try there Carmel roll next time!!
