The food was excellent, but it came with the worst service I've ever received. The waitress was not friendly and didn't offer drinks or dessert. She left dirty salad plates with trash on them when she dropped off the food. She came to the table 3 times and didn't refill my water glass. All that could have been ok, but when she finally refilled it, instead of picking up the glass, she poured it over the table and spilled it everywhere. She never came back to the table at all, not even to clean it up. The water started spilling off the sides and into my shoes. Cool thanks. >.>

We went for the fish fry and the salad bar was not well stocked and neither was the fish. There were many people waiting for them to catch up. We mentioned our concerns to our waitress and she brought fresh fish straight to our table which was nice. Great tasting but slow on the delivery. We will give them another try :)

Great place to eat!! Huge portions, good prices for sure. Fast & friendly service! Open every day of the week & serve breakfast all day-bonus! We also ordered their pizzas for takeout a couple days later. Very VERY good pizzas too!!!!

We really liked the place. We stopped foe a coffee and we also got a piece of coconut pie which was divine. Will definitely go there again for a meal sometime.

Was passing through town when my trailer broke. Had it repaired at a near by local welding shop so I stopped here for breakfast while I waited for my repairs to be made. Overall, the service I received was pretty good. Could've been a touch better, but otherwise it was within reason and what I would consider to be acceptable. Food was ok, but not great. Although it was served to me within a quick amount time and it was served hot, I wasn't impressed with their french toast as it seemed rather bland as if they just threw a piece of bread on the griddle without "batter" on it and the toast was more or less just warm bread. Seems to be a nice little local restaurant though and I love to try small locally owned restaurants I've never been to as often they're better than any chain big name restaurant. If I ever end up in the area again and wanted food I would be willing to try here one more time, but I would opt for something else in hopes of more flavor/satisfaction. The prices were exceptional, however! My meal was barely $7-$8 (2 french toast, 2 eggs over-easy, white toast, and 1 chocolate milk) whereas most places charge $12-$15 for the same meal. Overall I say 3 stars for service that was reasonable/good and what I thought was very fair pricing. I also had chocolate milk but after I had some I realized they only use TruMoo out of a gallon jug so I didn't care too much for the milk taste due to personal preference of taste. (However, that doesn't affect my review as chocolate milk is different at every restaurant. Some use branded milk like that and other's make "homemade" chocolate milk and I personally do not like the taste of the TruMoo chocolate milk).

Will NEVER go back. I have never been ignored for so long. We waited for 25 minutes for nothing.. Two waitresses working and neither would even come to the table and say hi. Watched two tables walk in after us and get served with a smile as they continued to walk past my friend and I.

Went here for the Friday night buffet. Fish and tartar sauce was decent, but everything else was a bit subpar. Unfortunately I saw a young man drop the tongs from the fish fry on the floor and then put them right back in the fish and continue to take pieces out. I notified one of the servers and she put a new set of tongs in, but left all of the fish that had been touched by the dirty tongs. Yikes 😖

First off I was greeted by what seemed to be a bit of a snarled "you can sit wherever you'd like".
I get it, we definitely weren't from the area just some passer-throughs but still
Regardless the service was quick and was decently friendly..
There were ants crawling on our table and flies surrounding our booth.
I heard a microwave close shut and saw a plate of something come out of there, personally a red flag for me.
The food arrived in due time...
I had the half sandwich which was a ham and cheese and a bowl of chicken wild rice soup
My mother had meatloaf and my gf had the teriyaki salad
My soup tasted.. well not so much like any chicken wild rice soup I've ever had... there was something off putting about the base of this soup and my mother's meatloaf was more like a loaf of a substance of something that resembled meat
Overall I shouldn't have expected much from a small town like that

While checking out the local MN State Parks we needed to eat. In this quiet little town we found this quaint cafe. The menu was vast with options for all appetites. The service was outstanding, never an empty cup. I had the pork chop dinner and my husband had the meatloaf. The food was good, the people were gracious and the service was excellent. Will stop by again next time we are in the area.

Sunday is all you can eat Shrimp- comes with potato and salad bar. Excellent food! Reasonable pricing. Has a full menu and diferent specials daily. I have never tried it- but they must have decent pizza. There were 3 other tables that ordered that while I was there. Highly recommend this Cafe.
