We stopped here on our way out of town, after skipping the hotel coffee & scouring all of our sources for locating real coffee.
I'd read that the croissants were a MUST if there were any left. There were 2 almond croissants, so we snagged 1 right off the bat.
The hubs went right in for a nitro
I was less decisive - toggling between the macchiato and cortado. I opted for the cortado. He got his right away and went to the table. I waited. After a bit, I noticed a cup sitting there and I was the only person left. It was bigger than expected, I scowled but reached for it. They told me it wasn't mine. Oops, I was fondling someone else's lifeline. Also, yay, my drink wasn't made wrong! Don't judge me- the cortado, much like the macchiato HAS been served to me in a 10oz mug more than once. Sometimes less is more.
Moments later my lil cuppa life was in my trembling hands. Smooth & Satsfying. I could catch the full flavor of the coffee, with just enough cut through. Hot, but not scalding.
The hubs enjoyed his drink - he can leave his own review.
The croissant, while not actually made here and possibly not appropriate to review here, was quite good. I'd definitely purchase again, though I won't lie and say it's the best I've ever had. It's the best I've had this month. ; )
Music was played at an appropriate volume for the setting. Photographs displayed for sale were aesthetically pleasing.
A solid 4 stars - nothing gimmicky, just good coffee, which was EXACTLY what we wanted.

Best coffee I’ve had in Duluth! Great environment as well.
If you like chocolate or honey in your coffee, they make their own mocha sauce and use local honey. It’s great!

I visited this business for the first time last week and what a create set up. I enjoyed watching the beans being roasted as we waited for our coffee pick up. The staff was very friendly and had great smiles.

We have been going to Duluth Coffee Co through the years, and I think it has only improved. During our most recent stops, we have received excellent caps from several different baristas. Keep it up!!!

Friendly staff. The space was pretty small, with limited seating. We didn't like the espresso...ours was sour.

Wow the dark roast was easily one of the best brews I've ever had. So many flavors bursting!! Super nice baristas. This place is awesome!!!

Amazing quality coffee at a decent price. Fun location. A bit confused by the process itself. It seemed to move unnecessarily slow.

This place has potential. Being from out-of-town we checked this place out on Saturday and Sunday. Our service on Saturday was 5-stars. We had a great pour-over and Cap. Our service on Sunday was 3-stars as we ordered two 16 oz pour overs and ended up with two 12 oz pour overs. The barista making our drinks asked (after beans were ground and water was being poured) what size our drinks were to the other barista. At this point we knew that our bean to water ratio was going to be off---and it was. After waiting about 8 minutes for our two drinks (they had to grab the pour over equipment off the shelves) we decided we would take our 12 oz coffee and go. So averaging the two days-it's a solid 4.
