Coborn's Grocery Store Delano

I enjoy shopping here they always seem to have good deals and recently I signed up for there rewards program and I love it. I also look forward to there penny pincher deals. When you have a family of seven to feed you have to look for good deals where ever you can.

Nice store. We had a little trouble using the credit card terminal at the self-checkout but eventually a staff member appeared and helped us.

The two things I went in for are not carried there. The dairy guy could not have been less helpful as I was looking for the product. Dismissive and short. The only saving grace was Carter in the deli area who suggested I contact a manager on Monday as it was Sunday and there were not any in the building. Or so I was told. At least he had a suggestion that was constructive.

Good selection.
Very clean.
Prices steadily rising as everywhere else but good weekly sales.

They've remodeled since I've last been and it is nice! It's like a Hy-Vee or Lunds now. Not some country market. Impressive. A lot to choose from in the deli area, even sushi that doesn't make you sick!

Wasn't a very good experience last time, but it wad equipment malfunctions and not the cashiers fault. These things will happen.... good selection of items and I really like that my coborns card now automatically gives me coupon prices without having to clip them any longer!

They are making improvements, but still some things - their non-spicy and spicy fried chicken (at the deli) taste basically the same - we wonder if they taste their own food and suspect they are frying the two types of chicken together. Also thank god for their self-checkout lanes - it should not take longer to check out than it does to shop. Their shopping rows are still insanely close together. But thanks for the updated food types, the flower lady is lovely!!!!, and we are very grateful to have a grocery store fairly close for emergency shopping. Most importantly - seriously -your donatable food packages have some of the worst contents I have ever seen nationwide - please don't use your unsold food items to package these and provide some better options for the people who need critical food items. Also your prices on the packages used to be insane for the content - I hope they are better. I donate a bag every time I shop but switched to Cub a long time ago because your donate bags were so terrible. (I appreciate what you are fixing - but as you are a critical store in an area bereft of close by options, any other improvements are appreciated.)

Our regular grocery store has had trouble stocking good produce.
I stopped at Coborn's on the way home from work and it will be a new regular stop!

I like the location and the new upgrades- but this store is SO overpriced on certain things. I could not believe the first time i walked in and saw organic strawberries at 9.99- when you can get the same brand for 5.99 at target. It just frazzled me a little. I go there only if I don't have time to make it out to buffalo...

Super duper awesome people and very child friendly. My kids got to ride on the horse too
