Coborn's Grocery Store Delano

Staff are friendly and helpful. Love the self checkout. Has a great deli selection with a wide range of choices. Has almost everything you need.

This store has a very similar feel to Albertsons store chain. I felt like I was in Albertsons. It's a good thing. What this store has thats better than Albertsons is their Caribou Coffee stand. Albertsons has Starbucks stands in their stores. By the way, I only came here for the Caribou Coffee. I did not go further in the store or buy anything else than my latté.

Ever since they renovated, they stopped selling 3/4 of the gluten free items, also their prices nearly doubled & the setup isn't 'user friendly'. Their choice of putting a Caribou Coffee in the deli dept makes the whole place smell strange, fried chicken and coffee scents do not mix. Bottom line way over priced & no longer can shop for my gluten free items.

Really great fresh food and fruit. Staff is friendly and they ring you up and bag also!! Store is always clean.

Good variety of groceries but, expensive often times. Good to buy when there's deals.

I shop at Coburns intermittently, because its close. They have a good offering, especially in bakery & produce & meat section. Prices are high compared to Walmart. I used their bakery for my son's Graduation party. The cake was beautiful and very tasty. The downside was, they sort of "lost" my order, 2 days prior to my event. It got sorted out thanks to the Manager, but I didn't need that extra stress. Sheet cake - $60. Maybe that's the going rate, but felt high.

A nice mix of old and new. It still feels like grocery store rather than a sprawling industrial complex like some of the bigger franchises.

Good personal service. Plenty of checkout lanes and automated checkouts too. Caribou coffee and deli.

You'll want to shop penny pinchers and coupons. Otherwise price is not the best.

Prices are on the higher end do to the lack of local competition. Odd layout compared to the majority of grocery stores. Pretty apathetic staff if you need help finding something. Smaller selection of fruits and veggies, yet it takes up about a quarter of the store. It's awkward. They will occasionally have an amazing deal on an item though and that's nice. And considering that they are the only store in that city, it makes it convenient for those who live in deleno and the surrounding area. I avoid it when I can.

The bakery saved the day! I got my son's cake order in late (sorry again!). They were willing to push my order and get it done in time. As a single mom with hardly any time, I REALLY appreciate you making it a special day for us!
