Delicious food and friendly staff. The little cafe and general store is a great place for breakfast at least, and the lunch/dinner menu looked really good too. Highly recommend the breakfast bowl of tator-tots, eggs and gravy. Very filling and well cooked. Service was very quick, and plenty of parking. The store sells fishing bait, liquor/adult-beverages, food, snacks, camping supplies, and even mystery books by a local award winning author.

Great food and great owners! Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

I have traveled over 400,000 miles around North America. Camped out most all the way. This is the best restaurant that I’ve come across all of my travels. Fabulous food great service wonderful atmosphere . And I was a cook in the army so I have some idea what it’s like to have been food service. If you’re ever in this area or near this area stop And say hi and have a great meal you’re remember for a long time. Can’t say enough about the quality of people that operated it and find waitress to serve you.

Amazing food. The owner is so nice she tried to see if she had a camping fan we could borrow. Great prices and everyone there is delightful! I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Same great friendly service, second to none! Prices have doubled but so has the quantity. Quality of food continues to be top notch. We'll be back soon and often.

Friendly staff. Good variety of things for camping nearby. You can pick different varieties for your 6 pack soda purchase.

It was great, good food. Wish it was a little cheaper, would have loved to have some of the shrimp, but can't eat much anymore.

I love this place, Roger and his crew are the best. The salads are life changing. I often stick with the macaroni salad but I once brought the potato salad back home and my father in law said it’s the best he’s ever had. I also grab a bag of peanuts every time I’m in there. They just taste better there compared to anywhere else.

very convenient location. friendly owners. treats and snacks at a fair price--not marked up just because they're right by the state park. homemade meals and goodies looked really good (caramel rolls!). saw one of the owner ladies peeling potatoes by hand in the kitchen, so you know it's quality!

This place really puts the exclamation point on a visit to Lake Shetek! Stopped in during a day trip to the park for some lunch and had the entire restaurant to myself - on a saturday no less. Root beer floats are amazing and the food was great (I recommend the patty melt).
