It's become a weekly breakfast spot to be. Ya can't beat the great food, excellent personal service, it's just one "Great Big Happy" Friendly, Family, Welcome, Comfort place to be part of.

Incredible service, amazing food, huge portions and small prices!! Love the small town feel!!! May be a bit of a wait for a table as this seems to be the place all the locals flock to for breakfast!

Greasy, greasy, greasy food (today or always??)! 4 napkins didn't help soak it up. Server never offered to make it right. The fruit fly on my food turned my tummy as much as the grease...my tummy will be talking to me all day :-(

Northwoods has the best breakfast in Alexandria. Portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. The "Exploding Bear Omlet" is the best omlet I've had. Trust me, I've had a lot of omelets! The staff is super friendly and quick to serve. Never had a bad meal or experience there - always top notch. Please note that they don't take credit cards so bring cash.
