Stumbled on this cute restaurant while passing through town. Weren’t sure when we first got there as it just looks like a deli but once we ordered and stepped into the dining room it was no ordinary place. Very cute dining area, very attentive wait staff and great food. Also loved the history of the place and the park surrounding it. Can’t wait to eat there again.

Over the years I've traveled across the U.S for work and I have to say this is my favorite coffee shop of them all, and I've been to a lot of them. There may be better out there, but I haven't found it yet. From the delicious drinks and food to the reasonable prices and ridiculously friendly staff, I couldn't ask for more. The vibe is great too... The perfect blend of old school and modern means you get a diverse crowd.
On a personal note, everyone at Anderson Amusements who frequented your cafe during our time in town had nothing but nice things to say and we appreciate you being so kind to a bunch of rough carnies in need of lots of caffeine. 😁

It’s such a cute little cafe! The food is great and well priced. It has a very nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly, I will definitely be returning soon!

Mood is everything in coffee places; This is perfect inside and out.

Leslie and Jerry do it up right. They are a wonderful small business coffee shop in an absolutely perfect location, housed in the powerhouse of a decommissioned dam. Rooms are cozy and inviting and the product is always top notch. Great place to sit and hang with coffee and be either alone or with a group. Highly recommend.

One of the nicest cafe/coffee shops I've been to. Friendly, spectacular food and a plethora of caffeinated beverages. Catered to both the business/college individual looking for a nice environment for computer work and the family wanting a quiet peaceful meal. Prices are better than the large chains and delicacies are served with finesse and perfection.

The coffee is delicious, the prices are low and the people are the friendliest I've ever met. Put that all in the cool laid back environment and you have a must have place to stop. I come here every time I'm in Michigan. Love it here!❤

Leslie, Jerry, Amy and the rest are really great people! Always a smiling face to go along with great service. So many good things to say about this place. L.A.'s is as close to a community hub as you can get. Come here often enough and you'll see just about everyone who lives here. Easy drive-through for those wanting to grab a quick drink in a hurry. They also offer a breakfast and lunch menu and serve throughout the day. The interior of the huge historic building is brick with a very cozy feel and a few other businesses upstairs including a notary and a computer and phone repair shop. A separate room in the back if you're looking for a more private setting or other nooks for you to sit privately with a coffee and your laptop. Sitting on top of the Rocky River, it's definitely worth a visit.

Probably the rudest staff I have ever encountered. I just moved to the Three Rivers area and have heard nice things about this coffee house. While attending the water festival today it started to rain. I decided to go in and try this place out and to get out of the rain. The main entrance had no ramp to bring my city size stroller in which my 3 year old child was in. A customer helped me bring my stroller in (which was the only nice experience I had here). After ordering my drink I heard a lady (staff member) ask the gentleman who was checking me out at the register if I was staying or leaving because I can’t have my stroller inside. I then felt obligated to leave because I would not leave my stroller out in the rain and my child was sitting in it. So after feeling pressured to leave I attempted to carry my stroller down the step and spilt half my coffee outside the door, then had to walk in the rain. What a waste of money and time. Will never return!

Wow! This place is absolutely adorable! We were not sure if this was the place to take our 6 yr old and crazy 1yr old but I am so happy we stayed! The waffles were out of this world and so was the staff....i thought it might be on the snobby side but it was totally not!!!! If you are intimidated by all the different types and styles of coffee on their menu just ask...the staff explains everything to you and makes sure you get just what you want. I would come here every weekend if I lived in the area!
