DaCapo Coffee

Great little coffee shop. My daughter loves the bubble teas. My wife loves the vanilla latte. I stop for donuts in the morning just after they are delivered from Bakery Unlimited.

Great coffee and great treats in a warm and friendly atmosphere. First time I went I got a Carmel Frappe and I won't ever be getting them from McD's again, it was delicious! Second time I got Cafe Latte and a Hinkle's Bear Claw, I wanted to grab a book and enjoy the colorful and naturally lit dining room all day. Just recently I stopped in for a Mango smoothie and I already feel like family. Great place, much better than the cookie cutter franchise shops. If they started providing lunch and dinner options it would be hard for me to ever leave.

I always go every morning on the weekend and it is a wonderful environment and very nice workers. My coffee and bubble tea is always very tasty and their macaroons and doughnuts are divine!

Ordered the Caramel Butter Pecan, and it tasted like straight up espresso shots. No caramel or butter pecan. This is my third visit to buy coffee, and this will be my last. If you’re going to be a coffee shop and introduce other flavors, make that your intention.

Drove 30 minutes out of my way to come here on a whim and was nothing short of pleased. The staff was very friendly and the barista made excellent suggestions -- an "Aztec" latte with cayenne pepper (yum) and a homemade cinnamon roll. Amazing. I didn't catch the barista's name but she was wonderful. Music was pleasant, artwork and decor were interesting. Really happy I made the trip!

I love the idea of a coffee shop in Temperance. In fact, just today, I didn't want to drive to Lambertville, so I stopped by DeCapo. I've eaten here 4 times since it has opened, each time hoping my experience would be better than the last. From a consumer aspect, the building and inside are nice. The menu is fairly decent, offering a variety of things from sandwiches to desserts, to coffees and specialty drinks.

Here's what I noticed wrong on my 4 visits here.

Service at the drive through is incredibly slow.

Nothing ever tastes the same. I can order the same thing, and get a different taste every time.

The younger female employees perform much better than the "older" staff. When i ask what's in a drink, or what flavors they have, they're clueless.

Prices seem a bit high. 4.29 for a small smoothie? One of many things that I can get cheaper somewhere else, with a consistent taste.

I noticed DeCapo had high reviews, and after browsing through a number of them, it seems more people just rated them 5 stars due to the owners past history of being a music teacher at the high school.

Ordered coconut macchiato extra hot. There was a bit of a line so it took a few minutes for the coffee to come out. My first impression was it wasn't flavored to my liking but when mentioned to barista she took care of it right away. Husband ordered a Carmel apple latte with cinnamon extra hot. He had the barista tweek the apple flavoring a bit. We both enjoyed our beverages and the atmosphere.

We had been hoping a coffee shop would open in the Bedford area, and we got our wish! The coffee here is amazing. I was told they get it from the Flying Rhino in Toledo.

DaCap offers coffee (medium and dark brews, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.), doughnuts, pastries, and even cake and cheesecake. They also have soy and almond milk available for those who cannot tolerate dairy. The best part about this place (other than the coffee) is that they have a drive-through window for those days I am feeling too lazy to get out of the car. How cool is that?

The service is wonderful -- everyone is very friendly! The owners are also the employees behind the counter, and they are more than happy to answer any of your questions and/or concerns. I have been recommending this place to everyone I know.

Quaint and quiet atmosphere. Delicious artisian salads and sandwiches. Offerings of coffee, latte, cappuccino, etc. Bubble teas in a huge variety. Delectable pastries and desserts. Friendly customer service with a drive thru offering as well. A great gem for the Bedford area!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate Mark,the owner and Master Pastry Chef! I was panicking after I found out that a bakery I was dealing with for my daughters wedding does not work with fondant! I called all around town and a local bakery recommended Mark at DeCapo coffee shop. I called Mark and sent him pictures of the cake my daughter wanted and he said "No problem"! I can't tell you how much that was music to my ears. Mark ordered special "edible Gold" frosting from Las Vegas! He spent so much time researching into creating this masterpiece of a cake! It was beyond beautiful and elegant. When my daughter entered the reception and saw her cake she started to cry. If you want want an extraordinary, out of this world cake them you need to call Mark. He even delivered the cake to the venue! Stop over to his coffee shop too! The selection of pastries is unbelievable and beautifully decorated! Coffee is amazing too! Thank you again Mark!!!
