The Peasant's Pantry

I went for breakfast. The crepe was good but service was lacking. I was hoping to try a latte. I only received a food menu and asked the waitress if they have a drink menu. She said no but they ‘have things like coke and juice’. I ordered a coffee which had a burnt taste. When i was leaving i noticed they had a latte bar. I asked someone behind the counter and sure enough they do have a caffeinated beverage menu. I informed the person behind the counter that i never received the menu and she just stared at me blankly. It was like wanting a latte with breakfast was a foreign concept to these people.

I am an out of towner and tried to patronize your establishment today and the old lady that waited on us was the most rude person I have ever come across in the food industry. She stated she could not accommodate our group as it was too large. My issue was not that she couldn’t accommodate us, it was the way she delivered the message. She was extremely rude and treated us as if we weren’t worthy of eating there and that we wouldn’t pay!!! If your establishment only caters to the locals then you should probably advertise as such. I wouldn’t patronize your establishment again if it were the last place open on earth. Your hostess needs some etiquette classes on how to have mutual respect for her customers!! REALLY!!!! Fortunately for us we found another place to eat and gave them our money. You all missed out on a good chunk of change!!

We initially stopped to grab a coffee, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pastries and breakfast menu. Everything we tried was delicious.

Excellent food, friendly staff, exceptional coffee drinks. Their biscuits and gravy were everything you would expect, plus something subtly more. I very much enjoyed the chorizo hash, and am confident the rest of their menu is every bit as delicious. Will be back next time I'm in the neighborhood.

This was so disappointing. None of the items listed here are on the menu. It is carry out only, and its just bagels and some bakery items. They must have sold out or downsized. Do not waste your time stopping.

What a delicious place!! I dug in too quick to take a picture but boy was our lunch spectacular. I had the cherry chicken salad sandwich on sourdough and the hubs got the little piggie. Both with waffle fries. And the ranch... Hands down now in my top 3 ranches of all time. There's something about it - almost subtle hints of French onion dip and a very tiny tang similar to the BK onion rings sauce all in one?? Just phenomenal. We will be back anytime we hit Warren dunes!

Seems their website is not updated. We found them on a Google search looking for breakfast but when we got there there was no dine in option. It seemed like they had a fair selection of pre-prepared food to carry out but we were looking for a restaurant. We did get coffee to go but we were disappointed not to find what was advertised.

I love this place! I didn't have the breakfast but it looked amazing. I had the chicken sandwich and I loved it. Grilled to perfection and very tender. Everyone enjoyed their meal, even my picky grandson. Also, please visit the deli in the back. That looked amazing too. You can pick up lunch to take on your picnic.

Amazing food and service. The food was fresh and the portion size was on the larger side. They have a nice outdoor seating area. The place started getting really busy around 9:30-10 on the Sunday we stopped in. Definitely worth the stop for the food.

Our family was treated so rudely at this restaurant, beyond anything we’ve ever experienced. It is not family friendly, nor is it service oriented. Our 14 month old great grandchild dropped food on the floor & that was the issue. The manager & owner told our family to leave & not come back. Yes, a 14 month old! I feel so sorry for the wait staff, who are excellent, that they have to work in such an atmosphere. For the sake of other families, avoid this restaurant, especially if you have children.
