Love this place for their hot chocolate and leek and parmesan croissants. They have live music in the evenings. The vibe of the place is amazing!

This is the banana split cheese cake. If I can quote Guy Fieri, this was "ridiculous and out of bounds".

One of my favorite spots to hang out! I'm travel about 40 minutes to get THEIR coffee, and it's always fantastic, great quality coffee. The family friendly atmosphere keeps people coming back I think. The service is always outstanding, and great live music. Make sure to get their cheesecake, it is ALL yummy! Cozy place!

I'm not a coffee aficionado by any means; all I need is something chocolatey and warm, so the dark chocolate mocha was perfect for me. I've been a few times and never had a bad experience with staff. The atmosphere is genuinely perfect. It's cozy, I like the loud noise level (it weirdly helps me focus), and the cushioned chairs are super comfy. The reason for the one star loss is they are pretty strict about how long you can stay, which I totally understand. You've gotta make your money and they are super busy with limited seating. I was planning to stay for 3 hours because my parking meter was that long and I had tons of work to do. I was stoked that they were open until 10pm because I get there after work around 5. But I was told, around 7, that laptops aren't allowed after 6pm. (I appreciate the grace period >.<) I wish there was a way I could pay them just for more time at my table so I can continue to work there. An hour just isn't enough time. Maybe a menu option? Reservations? I don't want them to lose sales, I just love working at their shop haha

Adorable little shop. Smaller than the one in royal oak but amazing coffee as always.

The coffees and desserts are amazing, but what really sets this place apart is the music and great vibes

My BF took me here for the first time tonight and it was a great find. I tried the cinnamon-honey latte and he had the Chai latte... So good! There was live music here and it was a nice crowd. Service was fantastic. We will be frequenting this place whenever we're in the area for sure. I'd love to try their cheesecake next time!

Been going to dessert oasis since they first started back at the cupcake station location. I’ve stopped coming here after 3 bad incidences. They have been very rude to me and my friends for multiple different reasons I do wonder if it was because we didn’t fit in and we are only teenagers. Either way, we were still quiet and we still paid just like everyone else so there has been no reason for their rudeness. Also, their coffee proportions have gotten awful. The small is literally so small that it doesn’t even fit in my cup holder properly and it was $6! I got a small mocha which typically runs about $4 for a medium. I also don’t like having to walk down the middle of place in order to buy my coffee. It always feels like I’m walking down the runway of judgement and that isn’t just how I feel all my friends and family feel the same way. Anyways, I started going to bean and leaf which is also downtown a little under a year ago. Much better prices and a way better atmosphere I go there so often I didn’t even have to tell them my order. Dessert oasis is not a monopoly there are tons of other local coffee shops that are way better if you’re coming from out of town.
