This place is an entire experience. I don't give 5 stars often. 35 bucks to Kayak to Turnip Rock per person then finish at their gift store and bar and grill. We sat outside, good fish tacos, great beer on tap and in bottles/cans great view of the kayak docking area and games for people to play outside. Friendly, fast service.

After a kayak trip to turnip rock, nothing sounded better than stopping at Pak’s for a bite to eat. We sat down around 12:15, ordered drinks and food, received our drinks and our waitress never came back. We roasted on the deck without an umbrella for about an hour until we spotted the waitress chatting at a table nearby. Meanwhile, four tables around us had been served, paid and were replaced with new hungry patrons.
Finally we went to check on our food ourselves, and found out no one put in our food order. We were hot, hungry and so incredibly disappointed at the service. We will not be returning, or recommending to friends interested in taking the kayak trip.

ordered food to dine in at the same time i ordered a chicken sandwich to go, waitress insisted that she would put that order in at the end. when bill came she had forgotten, said she'd put the order in asap. it took longer to get the chicken sandwich than the entire duration of the meal from the time we sat down to dine. Had to chase the waitress down until she got my carry out, clueless. I had paid my bill, so i'm sitting at a table waiting for a carry out, costing them money, holding up one of their tables that a group of four could have been occupying, ordering food and drinks. Owner walked around clueless with a beer in his hand.

Food was overpriced for what it was. I had a burnt unseasoned chicken breast sandwich. My fiancé Burger was over cooked as well. Service was quick. Loved the atmosphere but I probably wouldn’t return.

Great experience. We ate outside and they had vegan choices. That always impresses me.

An excellent restaurant with an even better atmosphere. While eating, you overlook beautiful and scenic Lake Huron. The food was great and the waitress, Madeline, was professional and courteous.

Place appeared delightful. We waited at least five minutes (possibly ten) for service. Food was cold. Fish taco was overly spicey and a gloppy mess. Kids enjoyed burgers. Waiter did remake my friends shrimp tacos without the coleslaw when she said they were too spicy. Pasta salad wasn't that great ...no one are it.
On the plus side, toys for kids to play with and we sat outside enjoying the garden and Lake Huron. Staff was very pleasant. Looked like they had a good beer list.
Simple menu, burgers, tacos and salads. Wishc weould have had a better experience.

Great service, view is great. Spicy fish tacos had no heat, hamburger was kind of bland as well as overcooked. Spinach dip was delicious even though it came after the meal so it was more of an after thought than an appetizer. Had gluten free buns which was nice, still served pasta salad with it so I dont think they understand the concept of gluten free. Cant order coffee at the table so you have to goto coffee bar to get, wouldve had a frappe as well but seemed like too much trouble so passed. I would say avoid for sure on farmers market day.

Had a fun Friday evening with refreshing drinks and live entertainment! Beautiful view of Lake Huron too! We've kayaked with them a few years back which was also a great experience! Highly recommend Pak's backyard!

Great spot for a quick bite to eat. Good craft beer selection with up to 16 different choices (4 on draft). Food prices are available however drink prices are not shown ($15 for an Atwater Dirty Blonde and Margarita). Beers are served in 20oz sizes, not the traditional pints.
Overall a great spot with a tremendous outdoor atmosphere. Service was adequate. Menu options are a bit slim, but this place makes up for it with a great spot.
