Always friendly, the staff here takes great pride in what they do. Efficient yet homey. Simple and flavorful. Lox is always good. Any omelet. Basile eggs are delicious but sometimes a simple cup of coffee and a sticky bun with some banter with Jen or Emily is the perfect breakfast. Expect a crowd on weekends, expect locals to bring out a harmonica solo or uke song to welcome the weekend, expect genuine friendliness, but don't expect to be disappointed.

Outstanding western omelette & fresh fruit, can't wait to indulge in the quiche to day! My husband loved the bacon egg & cheese sandwich. While I could make the same at home, it felt doubly good to bring you business. We need you in Pentwater!!

I've just been in town about a week, but have been in this place twice. Loved it both times. Nice, efficient service. Terrific food. Pleasant atmosphere. Very good, local, independent feel to the place. Cozy, friendly kind of place I love! Highly recommended.

LOVE this place! Nothing fancy but food is top shelf! Reminds me of the delicious brunches at a bab we stayed at in Maine years ago. We plan trips up north with stops here. Yum, loved yum.

Great little place, love having breakfast here. Friendly staff and good food.
They usually are closed December-March so be sure to call or check their Facebook before going there in the winter.

Wait time was long, and they separated our large group into two tables, to which I can understand why. Not a bad experience for a breakfast to lunch time restaurant.

We really enjoy this humble little cottage on the channel between Pentwater Lake and Lake Michigan, the decor feels like visiting your auntie's place. The service is friendly and prompt. We ordered the vegetable omelet which came back very thin and light and just stuffed with asparagus, spinach, bell pepper, and just the right amount of feta, it was excellent. It comes with sliver thin rounds of potato rotated to perfection, so tender! It also comes with toast and a side of homemade strawberry freezer jam that had the texture of barbeque sauce, you can pour it on the toast or dunk it in, it's unique and tasty. Our kiddo had the waffle with whipped cream and strawberries, it was tasty but not a generous portion and came with no sides, it was good but over priced for what you got for $9, where the omlet was worth every penny of the $9. The coffee is nothing special, but overall it's a very good breakfast in a charming atmosphere, we'd recommend it as the best in Pentwater. And for our fellow vegetarians, they even have vegetarian sausage, a rarity in this part of Michigan!

Breakfast was delicious. We were seated in a corner table on the porch where we connected w/old friends. Our server was awesome. We will eat here again when in town next!

This is a don't miss old style family diner.
The best breakfast I have had in a year, and so reasonable!!!
Ladies were so kind

Today the food was very good, other times not so much. Waitresses don't ever seem to enjoy their work here, on every occasion we've went, they aren't overly friendly.
